Andddd we’re back to normal oh man I was worried a little bit. The 3rd installment in the elseq series is much better than elseq 2 but not as good as elseq 1. It’s much less noisier but that doesn’t come to its benefit fully. I really like the opener as it’s much more minimalistic and different from a lot of the more complex noisy IDM stuff. Okay, the third instalment definitely feels like a step in the right direction, even if it’s still considerably less polished and impressive as their earlier stuff.
elseq 3 maintains the avant-garde approach dealing with microsounds in a very glitchy production, that made elseq 2 a very difficult album to digest, however they do achieve some better results here, by introducing some heavier noises and even some subtle melodies. Revisiting elseq, part 3:
Probably the worst of the 5, though still solid. eastre is a great, off-putting drone to start the album, but the following track tmb2 is just alright and doesn’t really go anywhere all that interesting. mesh cinereaL picks up the the pace as a long winded, noisy odyssey, but still doesn’t feel quite as memorable or impactful as eastre.

Wheel picked this one and I am kinda disappointed. Not bad but pretty boring at its worst moments. I can recognize that it's good but for this long? Really?
