The album is a warm, musically ornamented revisitation of the rapper's '90s heyday, with more hits than misses and never so much nostalgia that it feels completely stuck in the past.

I MEAN the first half was alright there were some semi-decent songs but then what the hell happened????? That second half sounded like troll music. Like the deepest cess pit of old man rap.

Unc don't got it no more πthat second half was just straight ass. Most of the good material in this was only in the first half, where he sounds like his usual self, but in the second half he tries to fit in with some new modern sounds, and it doesn’t work at all. Also don’t get me started on that corny ass lyricism.

The first 4 songs were actually decent-good, and it looked promising for Cube but it fell apart. Only 3 good songs on this (Rollin’ At Twilight, It’s My Ego, and Ghetto Story,) and the rest of the album is just garbage.
Ice Cube’s lyrical abilities have been on a decline across a few decades , and unfortunately the production doesn’t help that much either.
