A little teaser between some of the greatest albums ever made. Jackin for beats is some of the most essential, monumental Hip Hop tracks, has better beat switches than the ones you hear today

Project #0484

Artist: Ice Cube
Project: Kill at Will

This is raw and aggressive, but a bit rough around the edges. The production hits with that early West Coast energy, heavy drums, simple loops, and a gritty feel, but it’s not as refined or dynamic as a full album.

Day 10/365

Really good EP and Ice Cube was sharp on this album with tracks such as Endangered Species, Jacking for Beats, and Dead Homies. Using the Parliament sample, Bop Gun was honestly genius, and it's cool for me as a music fan to recognize a sample immediately.
