George’s ballad game remains supreme. I love the approach he took on them here and looking back their messages have new innuendo. The upbeat material is not so strong though. At the end of the day, this isn’t as remarkable as ‘Faith’ but it solidifies George’s status as one of the best male starts to come through pop music.
Wow, I didn't expect this to have held up this well. Such a cohesive and genuinely beautiful album with great writing complimented by fantastic production and one of the best male voices in pop music history.
