Leftism is my favourite album of all time. After the extreme mehness that was Rhythm and Stealth, I was hoping this one would redeem Leftfield, and I'm glad to say that it did for the most part. I had a fun time listening to this.
Best tracks: Universal Everything, Storm's End
Worst track: Head and Shoulders (actually the worst track Leftfield has ever produced thanks to Sleaford Mods' godawful vocals)
Universal Everything is one of the best techno tunes of this decade. Filthy, pulsating and seizure inducing. Little Fish and Shaker Obsession tread similar grounds, providing some fantastic moments. The rest either bangs (not so hard) or meanders throughout its runtime.
All you malicious crows, put aside your poisonous pens and hide in the closest basement because this alternative light source will extinct you anyway.
Neil Barnes is here, after 16 years, ready to keep the volume pumped with his latest, progressive rhythms.
Im not sure Leftfield will ever live up to the 90s masterpiec that is Leftism one of the greatest electronic dance albums of all time. But this album is actually quite refreshing.

I came into the album worried because of the single Bilocation which seems to be a poppy song that felt like he was trying to be relevant in the dance music world of today but in fact the album after 2 listens is more than that and the individual songs without guest singer really standout.
