The first and only solo release from Oldham under his own name, outside of a couple extended plays and an album of acoustic versions of his early work, doesn't deviate heavily from the later Palace Brothers material. Much like Viva Last Blues, Oldham's Kentucky roots peer out from the dirt as he maintains his alt-country tunes.
