Whether you think you may like Dreamless or are even a marginal fan of Fallujah, I would still highly recommend this album. But in order for me to present a critical view, I have to bring to light the monotonous tendencies of the album as well. It’s safe to say that you will like Dreamless, but you may not love it.
It would be foolish to ask a band as unabashedly progressive as Fallujah to stand still and just repeat The Flesh Prevails at a lower volume, but nonetheless, Dreamless can’t quite compare to its predecessor.
Beautiful progressive/technical Death Metal and a great follow up to The Flesh Prevails.
Faces of Death begins with a nice slow build into the heaviness, definitely more of a tone setting intro in its structure. Adrenaline puts...well, ...adrenaline into the instrumentation, speedy drums and shredding under the shoegazy melodic soundscapes. Pleasant track. Their music on this album and the Flesh Prevails does a great job of bring color to the sounds, lots of shiny cool tunes.

They need to work on their writing because most of this is pretty uninteresting. It sounds like every musician here is trying to be the star of the show. And it all becomes overwhelming and hard to understand at certain points. The vocals are not very good as well. He doesn't have enough dynamic or range and isn't carrying his weight at all here. There's some cool proggy moments but they never feel worth it in the grand scheme of things.
