Mere flashes of their potential were revealed here, with occasional, darkly ambient instrumental song snippets making their way among blistering examples of typical '80s thrash metal, though the two never quite meshed into the awesome sonic weave that would characterize later-day triumphs.

Phenomenal debut. Their sound is already very well developed, every song is so aggressive and elegant. Technically proficient and the production is impeccable, shame the best songs on the album are the first ones cause it slowly loses impact but that's a minor complaint

Peak tech thrash.

GREAT

It's not nearly as ambitious as the band would get with releases such as Mental Vortex or Grin, but R.I.P. is still a really solid debut. For an 80's thrash metal record, Coroner had their own sound clearly cut out of a scene populated by tons of Slayer and Exodus clones.

Siadł mi nawet. Solidny album. Jasne, spotkałem się z albumami które by mi bardziej zapadły w pamięć, ale jest mocny ^^
