The perfect Dragonforce album. Never felt such despair and the desire to escape that despair in any other album. Great grim intro, the most catchy songs from Dragonforce, and the most badass ever cover of Evil Dead. Most fav song here is Astral Empire.
Cool fast, heavy and powerfull riffs, high speed rocking. I am not a big fan of too much power metal though. It is nonetheless very solid, even for people who come from other genres. It's just very fast though.
This got me into metal. My first ever metal album. Honestly, it still holds up. While some stinkers exist like WAR and hatred and Revenge, this is such a tonal shift from the past albums that really worked.
