Another classic case of when the artist releases their best songs, on an album, as singles.
I do appreciate how they enforced other genres and experimented with their sound. However this should have NOT been almost and hour and a half. All the songs just started to blend into one at a point and it was becoming pretty difficult to finish.
Rina Sawayama is the future of pop. AOTY???? highly possible.
She has an amazing talent of making her pop music sound nostalgic as well as innovative. You can easily mistake her songs for either being a 00s y2k pop hit or be completely gobsmacked that pop music can be this revolutionary and can exceed this imaginary limit that the mainstream has set for modern pop music.
Generic as hell and most of the songs are identical to each other. However this album works as a great introduction into indie rock music. Its filled with a lot of bangers and is catchy as hell. First listened to this album when I was 15 and it introduced me to modern rock as a whole. Still enjoy till this day
