What a banger. Would be an 100 for me if it didn't age so poorly. The "big as the Superbowl" line actually sounds satirical with how bad it aged. However, the beat is fire and the verses are super catchy and good. I personally prefer it to Like That, but I think Like That is the "better" song because of how it aged compared to First Person Shooter.
A solid work of art tarnished by the accidental blemish it left on society and the pop culture community. I would give it a higher score if I could bring myself to it.
While I understand (and partially share the opinion) why people dislike Blurryface, I really don’t understand the hatred for Scaled and Icy. A more laid-back and chill continuation of the lore, it touches on the more political and internal aspects of the conflict in Dema, and the band return to their signature happy-sound-sad-lyrics style they are known for. Overall, I think it achieves this quite well, with a few substantial misses and poor-quality songs (Saturday and Bounce Man, which ... read more

I don’t like Trippie’s verse
Such a good song man. An incredibly fire piano riff combined with some great bars is gonna make a banger single. Delivery Boys is definitely one of best rap groups out right now. Give this a listen gng.
It is that bad, but not all bad. As a certified twenty one pilots glazer, this is pretty mid, especially coming of off Vessel, but the highs are there. The main flaw is the unbelievably cringe lyrics ("I know a thing or two about pain and darkness" - Lane Boy, which was really good otherwise) and the repetitive poppy sound (which makes Lane Boy even worse, as this is such a radio-friendly album, which is pretty much what Lane Boy is saying it's not) is tiresome. The concept ... read more
Banger album. The first five tracks are actually magical and absolutely prove that Conor is one of the best vocalists out right now (ever?). Unfortunately, the quality drops off a little bit near the end, with tracks like Drawing Pins and Painkiller not being my favorite. Least favorite song is Painkiller, just kind of boring but still a passable 5/10. Best song is easily Excuse Me, being one of the best intros of any album for me, in the league of Vessel's Ode To Sleep and To Pimp A ... read more
This album as a whole is... passable. It's nothing mind-blowing, and while there are some pretty high highs for me (Stained, Good Things Go) , and I'm glad that Linkin Park is back, it truly is nothing crazy. Overall, still good and has good moments throughout. RIP Chester and welcome Emily. Hope they make more solid music in the years coming.
60/100 - Okay
Just a very nostalgic, and very solid rap rock album. Definitely a classic, and has some really memorable and great tracks.
Notes: Cure for the Itch is super underrated and a banger, and the 20th Anniversary Edition of this album has some great reimaginations of these tracks, that I daresay surpass the originals by a wide margin. (Esaul Xero Demo, and H! Vltg3) Also left a review for that.
70/100 - Good
Genuinely not bad at all considering their track record. While the lyrics are cut from the same corny tree of its predecessor projects, a lot of these songs are catchy and fun. It has some of their best songs, some of their worst songs, and ultimately is just another Imagine Dragons project.
40/100 - Bad
In my opinion, this is Kanye's most personal album, second only to Twisted Fantasy. This album feels like Kanye's psyche; it has the aggressive elements found in albums like Yeezus (I Thought About Killing You, Yikes), beautifully psychotic and vulnerable songs, like the ones found in MBDTF (Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, Wouldn't Leave, No Mistakes) and of course the thirsty songs found in every Kanye album (All Mine). This album is easily one of Kanye's best, and I ... read more
In my previous review for The Marshall Mathers LP, I mentioned that they both had one completely putrid track. For MMLP, it was Remember Me; for TES, it is Drips. I think this album is one of the best rap albums of all time. Every single track is perfect and showcases the incredible wordplay and flow of Em combined with some funky and fantastic production. It has some of the best skits in rap (The Kiss, especially with its lead up to Soldier) and the best political tracks calling out the ... read more
Call it recency bias, but this is the definition of an “instant classic”. It’s 2 fucking hours long and every single track is legendary. It has the best rapping I’ve heard since The Forever Story, and the production is borderline ethereal (Life Sentence, 39 Intro, I Love Her Again). Honestly, fuck the critics who are giving ts a 5/10 for clout. Give Cole his fucking flowers already.
Note: Only You is a banger.
95/100 - Near Perfect
My choice for Kanye’s best album. This is such a personal and luxurious record, and it is really quite the experience. I won’t be able to say anything someone hasn’t said before.
Note: Runaway is my personal choice for the best song ever made, and Blame Game is top three on the album.
Edit: I'm starting to think this is greatest album ever made.
100/100 - Perfect
First thoughts review, will probably change in the future. I thought this record was great. The return of the 808s&HB style with the interesting chipmunk sampling was so refreshing. I loved tracks like ALL THE LOVE, THIS ONE HERE, and FATHER. There’s still a little ai from what I can tell but I’ll cut him some slack. Idgaf. THE GOAT IS BACKKK
Edit: After giving it some time to marinate, I am actually mostly pretty happy with the score my sleep-deprived delusional self gave ... read more
This is my personal favorite of Bruno’s albums. It is a surprisingly introspective and yet fun and danceable experience. It has what I consider to be some the best hits ever, with Treasure, Locked Out Of Heaven, and When I Was Your Man. There isn’t a single song I dislike, it just has a few songs that I would consider to be subpar (Moonshine, If I Knew) and the genre-blending and versatility that Bruno showcased has yet to be topped by any of his other projects in my opinion.

Doo Wops and Hooligans was very polarizing. It has some absolute bangers (Just the Way You Are, Count On Me, The Other Side, Runaway Baby) mixed in with some of the most atrocious hits and painfully weird lyrics (Grenade, The Lazy Song, Our First Time, why tf are you making a song about that gng) and it results in a very strange experience as an album. The score is still positive mostly because the highs were very high for me, and there were more of them than the rock-bottom lows. I love Bruno ... read more
