While I think this is overhated, I don’t think it’s good. Since this EP is only 6 songs long, I will write a few sentences about each song.
I thought this song was mid at best. While i respect NF as a person, and wish him the best if these mental issues are real, this song literally sounded just like a song on HOPE, his last project. The production is boring and sounds just like every other NF song so far, and the lyrics told me nothing he hasn’t told me on HOPE.

This isn't another bad joke unfortunately my funny bone's broken I actually think this is a slapper
Another phenomenal project by Nothing But Thieves. Since there's only 5 songs, I'll write a few sentences about each song.
Futureproof is top 3 Nothing But Thieves, and may even be number 1. The guitar loop they use throughout the song is actually heavenly, with the only one that rivals it is Live Like Animals on their Broken Machine LP. The lyrics describe the incessant need to snap a picture of everything, and turn everything into content. The title, "futureproof" relates ... read more
Kanye sampled ts so it's bound to be peak (It's better than Good Life)
Amazing song. The vocals are really impressive to me, even for Michael, and I love the chorus (one of my favorites in any MJ song). The differing vocals layered together really are something else, combined with the ethereal production makes for a dream-like chorus. The song as a whole has the same melancholic feel, describing the story of MJ having an affair with a woman that, unbeknownst to him, was already taken. Phenomenal song and one of his best songs since the Thriller project.
This ain't it chief. While I understand and respect the influence and effect it had on the rap game, listening to this in 2026 isn't the most pleasant of experiences. While there are a few good songs in here (Fuck Tha Police, Straight Outta Compton, Something 2 Dance 2) most of it is just okay. The rap verses are mid, the beats are not what I've come to expect from Dre, and the lyrical matter really just sounds like prime Eminem and King Von combined but worse than the both of ... read more
NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY FOR THE TRACKS THAT DID NOT GET UPDATED AND REUSED IN VESSEL
This shit is weird man. It actually has some of their best songs ever, mixed with some okay tracks. Not a single one of these songs is under a 7 except for Be Concerned, however. As I am only reviewing 9 tracks, I can say a few sentences about each.
Slowtown is an okay song about the passing of childhood, and it honestly felt like an archaic predecessor to Stressed Out. While I would consider it the ... read more
It's good. Not great, but good. While all the songs are solid, there are only a handful of songs I would even consider revisiting. While the highs are there, and they are of the heart-wrenching caliber I have come to expect of |-/, the overall sound of this record is not of my personal taste. Songs like At The Risk Of Feeling Dumb, while I resonate with the meaning, I don't really enjoy the actual sound. The chorus is a little stale and the production isn't for me. However, songs ... read more
So, so good. I have heard that this is Tyler's Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers (or 4:44), and I agree completely. Every single track (for the most part) is a hard-hitting emotional display or a powerful portrayal of Tyler's own self-assurance. Unfortunately, a pair of tracks weigh it down for me. Sticky, while not being a "bad" track, feels very disjointed from the rest of the album, and Balloon, which is not a very good track in my opinion. It not only also breaks up the ... read more
Not bad at all. It has some really life-changing songs (A Car, A Torch, A Death, Taxi Cab) with some songs that are underwhelming at best (Before You Start Your Day, March To The Sea), resulting in a mixed bag, albeit with more highs than lows. A strong start to their career and has some of their best songs.
Note: The Pantaloon is top 5 on this album. Unsure why it is rated as the lowest.
Edit: I am unsure how I rated this an 80 initially. With my most recent listen, I will be raising the ... read more
His best song over 1 billion streams in my opinion. The beat is so calming and bubbly and the vocals have the same soothing effect. The concept of the song (relating a passionfruit to a relationship, as it has a rough and bitter exterior but an ambrosia-like interior) is clever, and naming this song a fruit just feels right. The only real flaw for me is the intro with the guy talking, but I really don't care that much honestly. I come back to this one regularly.
Pretty good. I think 3 billion streams is crazy for this song (and even just in the context of Drake's discography, other hits of his are much better in my opinion) but whatever ig, 2018 was a crazy time. If it comes on the playlist I will listen, but I'm not going out of my way to give this another stream. Still good, however.
Just as good, and in my opinion better, than their debut album. Every single track is a banger and super replayable and unique. Conor's vocals are off the charts in this one too, and in my opinion the instrumentals are even better than the ones in NBT (guitar riff in Live Like Animals, Hell, Yeah, Amsterdam). This album is the definition of infectious and addicting when it comes to sound. Give it a listen and the band as a whole a listen.
90/100 - Amazing
Really solid. I thoroughly enjoyed Breach on first listen, and while some of the songs grew off me a good amount, the highs are still there and it remains good in my eyes. The instrumentals throughout this record were some of the band's most unique (Robot Voices, Center Mass, RAWFEAR) and the big sonic difference between each track while still maintaining cohesion was impressive and enjoyable. The conclusion of the lore that this album brought was satisfying to me, and I am overall happy ... read more
