I love this album!! Macs chill vibe and tear-drawing vocals are hard to dislike, and I believe his creativity is at his peak here. 2 always makes me grin every time I listen to it, it’s one of my all time favs to this day! :)
Packed with so much emotion. Everything is amazing from start to finish. Beautiful album.
Another great album by The Smiths!! Although the lyrics can be lacking, the songs are still great. As much as I like their self titled album, I still believe this is a huge step up! :D To me, it’s the Disintegration of The Smiths, a little bit for everyone and a combination of The Smiths separate styles. Favs are Well I Wonder and I Want The One I Can’t Have. :)
Super good!! As per usual Smiths. Some songs are forgettable compared to the rest of The Smiths catalogue, but on their own they’re amazing. Just goes to show how amazing they are as a band. :)
Mid. Definitely didn’t expect that much but it’s fine for what it is ig. I personally don’t like it tho.
One of the best albums I’ve heard in forever!! This is some of the best modern gothic-rock I’ve heard, and I’m glad the genre is still alive and clearly doing great. Fontaines D.C. is gonna be generational, I can feel it. I’m so happy I found their music. :) Favs are Favourite, Desire, and Starburster, every song has their own value though.🖤

Instant classic in my book! This band is spectacular. They’re so original and almost every song I hear by them is a banger. Btw, this is some of the most unique New-Wave I’ve ever heard!! It’s so fun and jumpy, and it’s so hard not to like! I’ve only heard it once by the time of writing this review, but Remain In Light is already a new fav of mine!! :)))

Omg this band is amazing, and this isn’t even their peak. I’m so stupid for not listening to one of the definitive New-Wave bands earlier, as much as I love the genre.
Unexpected Kendrick drop??🗣️🔥End kinda fell off but was saved a lil by Gloria. Not a huge fan of the album as a whole tho, it feels like mostly filler. I think it was rushed a little cuz of the beef so I’m sure it would’ve been way better if more time was spent on it. That’s about it tho, idk. Fav was Luther🖤
Happy Hour is amazing but the rest of the album is pretty unoriginal. Istg like half the songs had the exact same guitar track. They’re pretty similar to The Smiths tho so I like that
Welcome back Peter Murphy! :) Beautiful song and exactly what the world needs rn.🖤
A great debut and great album!! Definitely not as perfect as their later work, but still amazing considering this was their first. Personally I didn’t really enjoy The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, it just lacks that Smiths originality. It’s not bad at all though!! I just didn’t really enjoy it haha. That’s it though, great album overall :)
Weezers second best (first being Blue Album obv). It’s definitely a lot less unique than Blue Album but this is definitely a great entry to Weezer (after Blue Album obv). As you can tell btw this album is no where near how good Blue Album is imo, no matter what I don’t think Weezer can recreate it, but that’s ok. White Album is still pretty good. (Plus it got Weezer on my friends playlist haha)
Oh my days I love The Smiths, I’m doing my re-listen of all of their albums currently and it’s done nothing but remind me of why they’re my favorite band ever. Although I still think Hatful Of Hollow is their best compilation, Louder Than Bombs is nothing but great.
I thought the critic reviews were gonna be terrible, but I was super surprised when I saw the amount of (deserved) appreciation for this unique masterpiece!! Beck as an artist almost feels dirty, in the best way possible, and this is whatever that feeling is at its best. :) Favs are Minus, Novacane, Devils Haircut, and The New Polution.🖤
Recently gave this a re-listen on the walk home from school to where I can actually focus on the music more and not be distracted by anything else. Doing that made me realize how amazing of a comeback this is, they haven’t change a bit in 16 years and are still the beautifully erie band they used to be. Songs Of A Lost World was definitely worth the wait! Robert’s voice is still as amazing as ever btw :)
Goddamn this album is beautiful. I love literally every single song on it and have no issues with any of them. If I could get married, have kids with, and spend the rest of my life with an album, I would do so with The Queen Is Dead.
Absolutely amazing! Although I believe Pornography is better, Disentigration perfectly combines The Cure’s 2 (sometimes 3) styles. It’s the perfect introduction to their band and a timeless classic :)
