The Alchemist’s production feels oddly lackluster here. In the past year, I feel his skill has downgraded. Otherwise, a solid album to resume Woods’ and Elucid’s legacy, both as a duo and as artists in general. Not their best, though, mostly due to the faults of their producer.
Boundary breaking freeform jazz. More impressive than listenable, but still an enjoyable listen.
A disappointment absolutely, but it is okay. Not a grand achievement, and not worth the wait, but if you extract it from the expectations, it is just a reasonably average album.
Kinda bloated but still very enjoyable with plenty bangers. Thanks for the rec @Z.Younk
