Pusha T - King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude
70

"King Push" is pretty much exactly like every album in Pusha's discography to come before it, but with less filler.
fav. song: F.I.F.A.

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard
50

I like the edginess but Tyler's production in often boring and repetitive.
fav. song: French!

Metro Boomin - NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES
70

It's a pretty generic trap album with some groovy standouts mixed in.
fav. song: Space Cadet

Travis Scott - Days Before Rodeo
80

Relistened cuz of the Spotify debut and it's much better than I remember. The unique production really makes this mixtape one of a kind. The execution on some of these tracks could use a bit of help, but the ideas on the tape really showcase what a creative powerhouse Travis Scott is. DBR is far from being my favourite Travis release, but it might be his most experimental one to date.
fav. song: Basement Freestyle

Pusha T - My Name Is My Name
70

It's a bit of a mixed bag but are quite a few great tracks in there.
fav. song: Nosetalgia

Travis Scott - ESCAPE PLAN / MAFIA
64

Too short so not much to say rly but it's not too bad ig.
fav. song: ESCAPE PLAN

Devon Hendryx - DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS
60

Great background music.
fav. song: Code: Veronica ✖

Vince Staples - Prima Donna
60

Basically like any other Vince Staples release, but less in quality and in quantity.
fav. song: Loco

Pusha T - Fear of God II: Let Us Pray
70

Pretty cliche 2000's rap music but it's not too bad.
fav. song: Feeling Myself

Peggy is great at creating a certain atmosphere by using minimalistic production, and this record has a lot of that but not much else.
fav. song: Untitled³

Vince Staples - Summertime '06
70

Good beats and good rapping, but the project as a hole ends up being less than the sum of its parts bc it's just so long and monotone.
fav. song: Like It Is

Travis Scott - Owl Pharaoh
60

This is obviously not Trav's best work, but he shows a lot of talent and ambition on this record and it's really not too bad.
fav. song: Hell of a Night

21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin - Without Warning
80

A lot of records like this are usually way too long, but this one is kept short with no skips. With groovy flows and top tier Metro production, all the song have a very similar structure, but still manage to display unique character. Truly some of the best Trap music I've ever heard.
fav. song: Ghostface Killers

J. Cole - The Off-Season
70

Cole really finds his sound with this one. It's a chill, relaxing listen and, in my opinion, his best album.
fav. song: l e t . g o . m y . h a n d

Devon Hendryx - JOECHILLWORLD
60

It's pretty fun ig but doesn't really present anything exciting.
fav. song: Montebello High School Prom

Death Grips - Death Grips
70

Just a lil Exmilitary preview.
fav. song: Takyon

J. Cole - Cole World: The Sideline Story
70

One of Cole's best albums. Drake MIDified him.

Death Grips - Gmail and the Restraining Orders
80

What Death Grips sounds like to normal people.

JACKBOYS & Travis Scott - JACKBOYS
60

This didn't need to happen but it's not that bad ig.
fav. song: WHAT TO DO?

Death Grips - Live From Death Valley
63

This had no reason to exist.
fav. song: Fyrd Up
