finally did my first listen of this album and i can honestly say that i kind of understand why it got some hype on release.
it’s a far cry from a perfect pop album, and some might say the aesthetic was borrowed from other underground pop veterans, but for what it’s worth - i can’t name many mainstream artists who’d do such a 180 when switching their image.
