KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS

Kanye West and Kid Cudi have a great chemistry together. Their respective styles mesh so well they create a genuinely unique and beautiful sounding hip-hop record.

Out of all the Good Music release so far DAYTONA is probably the most consistent sound-wise, but KSG has the higher highs.

It seems like with every new release Kanye is ditching fully-realized tracks in place of more surprising but rushed out and unfinished projects like Ye. Pusha T - DAYTONA

DAYTONA doesn't break much new ground and it isn’t even a particularly ambitious, but it demonstrates what both Pusha T and Kanye West do best in an admirably minimal and highly replayable set of seven songs. This is a strong start for a series of releases from Kanye and his record label GOOD Music.

I appreciate Rocky experimenting with his music, but it seems aimless and all over the place. That being said, there are some songs I like on here such as Buck Shots, Praise The Lord and Purity.

Father John Misty - God's Favorite Customer

First impressions: The songs are all good, but the vocal melodies he uses over these instrumentals are a bit bare and feel low-effort compared to his previous releases. I think it's supposed to be a sequel to honey bear since he makes a lot of references to staying at a hotel by himself and contemplating suicide.

Edit: After more listens my opinion hasn't changed much. It's a decent record.
