get this back to a must hear rn. some of the coolest production i’ve heard in ages
what the fuck i used to blindly hate on her.. chihiro is like song of the year potential
currents pretty much revolutionised modern psychedelic music with this album, it’s not perfect but it’s definitely important, and has a lot of bangers
fav track: let it happen
least fav: past life
this album exists because every horror movie is meant to have a sequel but it’s completely inaccurate because no horror movie sequel has ever been better than the original apart from this
fav track: enlacing
least fav: looking like meat
clipping do horrorcore perfectly. this album is gruesome, not exactly an easy listen, but still much easier on the ears than the sequel
fav track: blood of the fang
least fav: attunement
just pretty ugly. it’s like he really wanted his own yeezus and forgot to put much effort into the actual quality of the album. has some good songs but just isn’t very enjoyable
fav track: smuckers
least fav; keep da o’s
the forever story is one of the best ‘mainstream’ hiphop albums to come out in years, i honestly think jid has the potential to be the next kendrick or lil wayne. incredible in all aspects
fav track: kody blu 31
least fav: money, if i had to pick
the third (chronologically) installment in the wolf trilogy is basically goblin jr., but not actually nearly as annoying. not great but listenable
fav track: bastard
least fav: tina
the second installment in the wolf trilogy is insanely long and annoyingly edgy with pretty bad production. just not enjoyable
fav track: yonkers
least fav: fish
didn’t think i’d like this but the (chronologically) first installment in the wolf trilogy is the strongest point in tyler’s early catalogue
fav track: answer
least fav: tamale
such a manic album, literally wild front to back. his production and voice are both so insane and weird and they fit perfectly together
fav track: ain’t it funny
least fav: golddust
unlistenable. the worst experience i’ve ever had with an album. and because of that, i kind of love it, and definitely can appreciate it
fav track: veterans day poppy
least fav: when big joan sets up
i can appreciate it, but it never fully clicked for me. i could never really get into albums that just consist of loads of small tracks, because it can very often feel like half of them are filler or just not nearly as strong as others
fav track: fell in love with a girl
least fav: hotel yorba
surprisingly memorable and fun for an album which could probably go under the ‘boring indie rock’ genre
fav track: tommys party
least fav; chagus sideturn
radiohead lite’s very promising debut. super excited for the future of this band
fav track: free in the knowledge
least fav: a hairdryer
far from their best, still a masterpiece. quite possibly the most beautiful thing to come out in the past 10 years
fav track: ful stop
least fav: glass eyes
