Constant energy, but does become a tad bit repetitive after a while.

Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters

Nirvana - Bleach
66

Nothing really that interesting

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon: The End Of Day
79

Great Concept, but production is not the best in some parts

Ratking - So It Goes
67

Some good, some repetitive

Bonobo - Migration
71

Some pretty in depth songs

Jamiroquai - Emergency on Planet Earth
69

Extremely Funky, but quite repetitive

Grimes - Miss Anthropocene
71

A solid electronic album by grimes with some highlights

death's dynamic shroud - I'll Try Living Like This
86

So Mind Bending
Beautiful samples
Amazing synths
But does feel a bit repetitive with its ideas

Sydney Valette - Other Side
53

Feels like an artist that has no idea what they are doing

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!

The "Mladic" has layers and layers of instrumentation and nearly every moment feels like an intro to something great. The instruments are beautifully combined together, but in some places it might be a bit too random.

"Their Helicopters Sing" and "Strung Like Lights At Thee Printemps Erable" where not as good, but still had most of the texture of the first.

"We Drift Like Worried Fire" was nearly as good as "Mladic", but felt a bit weaker ... read more

Lizzo - Lizzobangers
78

Lizzobangers is a quite fun and light album. It does get a bit repetitive after a while, but it is overall quite good, but not great.

Quite Beautiful Melodies

Arctic Monkeys - Humbug

Nothing Too Special

JID - The Forever Story (Extended)
100

Only his third album.

Wow

Notes:
- Love the family theme
- Sampling in 2007 matches perfectly with the beat
- Dance Now vocals are insane, especially the sampled vocals in the background and the change in vocal somewhere in the
middle of the song

Listened to 1st - 15/02/2023

Polyphia - Remember That You Will Die
62

The melodies are quire complex, but all similar and there are no new ideas appearing as most songs feel like they were created from the same ones, just varied a small amount. Furthermore, the lyrics are quite bad.

Although this album is mainly mid, there are some small highlights, such as playing God.
