One of my all-time favorite rock albums. Apart from that, this is also their best work. If we neglect the track "House of Cards", IN RAINBOWS is a perfect LP.
Another great album from one of my favorite artists. I haven't really had the opportunity yet to read and dissect the lyrics but I'll be sure to do it in the near future. This is not his best, but who realistically exspected this to be better than good kid and TPAB. Although, it's not his best, it his right behind the other two albums I mentioned. "Purple Hearts" is a personal favorite of mine. My favorite part of the track is the Summer Walker verse.
Unfortunately, Cench doesn't play to his strengths on this 4 song EP. This collection of tracks lacks variety and exciting sound. Except for the first track "Chapters" that has a nice sample paired with a good beat and delivery from C. C. , the remaining three tracks are middle of the road and aren't worth revisiting later.
Solid trap pop rap album that I listened to on repeat when it came out almost 3 years ago as of the date when I'm writing this review. I'm coming back to it now and it still slaps. Unfortunately, R. R. hasn't brought out an album to match or top the quality of this one. I can say with certainty that PEMFBA is and will always be his best artistic effort.
This album is a lot of fun to listen to and despite this, it doesn't lack in introspective lyrics nor peaceful singing.
bad compared to his discography, but not bad as an album, a lot of the gospel and vocal work on here is beautiful and there are also good verses on songs like selah or use this gospel. Every Hour is a personal favorite of mine.
Best trap album ever.
Update:
My statement still stands after UTOPIA's release. The highlights on Rodeo are as follows: Pornography, Oh My Dis Side, 3500, Wasted, 90210, Pray 4 Love, Nightcrawler, Impossible Maria I'm Drunk and Ok Alright.
Best Kendrick album. It has the storytelling from TPAB paired with the catchiness of DAMN.
I first heard this album in June of 2020 and I loved it. After that I didn't really revisit it properly until now. And my opinion hasn't changed. I'm two years older and the album sounds the same as how it did on the first listen.
