I can't understand what seperates this solo record from other Paramore releases! I mean it's good and there's some good songs in here but as an artistic statement for Ms. Hayley this doesn't cut it.
A fantastic study of the human spirit, as it goes back in time to subtly dissect the psychology of sin in a poetic narrative built around a long darknight of the soul. Kaseem Ryan's Descandants of Cain is one of the most thoughtful, provocative and captivating rap records ever created.
The power of Drake lies in his commercial appeal, and Dark Lane Demo Tapes has it all in the title. As far as the music though, It's way better than Scorpion or Views in that it doesn't need to be proved or appreciated for what it is. It's actually one of his most interesting projects in a long time.
This is Will Toledo's most underwritten and uninspired work to date.
Something about this pairing that reminds me of the legendary DARKSIDE, and in a good way. What Kinda Music is a wonderful mix of talents that lands somewhere between the worlds of Pop and Jazz.
Good Souls Better Angels is the singer-songwriter's most unispired record to date.
Saying this album is boring is an understatement. The band simply refuses to grow up or even take the slightest of chances.
Turning everything to eleven, the formidable Death-Metal band returns with its most horrifying and technically brilliant effort so far.
Even though it's a bit structurally jarring, and the project as a whole can use some trimming, the latest record from the Canadian duo is another great addition to the Experimental Pop scene.
Songs For Pierre Chuvin ranks amongst the most underwhelming prrojects John Darnielle has ever laid out.
Dan Bejar's wit and wisdom continues to make his songwriting stand out among his peers, however, the umph and sense of wonder that made past records like Kaputt so iconic is sadly absent on his latest record.
A Pop Star is born! Rina Sawayama's mix of pop, nu-metal, and R&B goes rather well on her flawed but ultimately charming debut.
The most underwhelming record in their discography so far.
Might be the cheesiest album the band has ever put out.
Shabaka Hutchings' second outing with The Ancestors is a riveting document of transcendent Afro-Jazz that puts most contemporary Jazz records to shame.
Green Day somehow manage to go further into the rabbit hole with what is easily the worst record in modern Rock music since their last one.
Aporia is a fine collection of tracks from the genius songwriter. I just hope it's not the last we'll be hearing from him for a while.
