Radiohead - OK Computer

Sometimes I'll think this is my least favorite radiohead album out of the big 3, and then I remember how STACKED this tracklist is.

The evolution from this fucking band is insane. I genuinlly can't believe the same people who made songs like Creep, and My Iron Lung, also made Ideoteque and Pakt Like Sardines, and ALSO made Nude and Pyramid song. What the fuck.

One of the strangest albums I've ever heard. Sonically its a lot of ambient rap and space noises with really immersive sound design, but what really makes it weird is how much it fucks with the concept of an album. Like the tracks transitions are so smooth with so many moments on the album being very understated and subtle, it feels less like an album of songs, and instead 37 minutes of weird space noises, with Daveed occasionally dropping one of the sickest stories I've ever heard in ... read more

Genuinely wild that the same guy who wrote "Just a bunch of scared junkie not making the call, and a Guernica in blood on the wall" is the same guy who acts as Sebastien in the live action Little Mermaid.

Edit: Favorite album of the decade so far, wonder if anything will dethrone it.

MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS - ワールドイズユアーズ [World Is Yours]

Genuinely INTOXICATING, this album has seared itself into my brain with the high energy it provided in just 22 minutes! The production also follows a balancing act of being really distorted but still pretty clean. Really killer album front to back

Run The Jewels - RTJ4

Fucking awesome, this sounds like a series of bank heists all across the US and I'm here for it

Swans - The Great Annihilator

Mind/Body/Light/Sound needs to be put in a time capsule so it will never be forgotten

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach

Gorrilaz was one of the first musicians I ever got attached to, thank you random AMV's for introducing me to this album and changing my perception on music!

This album is fucking nuts. Taking Off and Dream are spacey and dreamy, Work Work has these weird sounds of glass being broken and tapped on with Daveed delivering a really catchy chorus, Dominoes has a god damn childrens choir and if it werent for the ominous verses could end up on a 2010's rap radio, tracks like Body and Blood, Inside Out, and intro all have major harsh noise elements, and Story 2 is one of the best storytelling rap song I've ever heard. This album has so much ... read more
