Even though I like this album, I REALLY wished I loved it. I think this album will grow on me in the future, but right now its just good.
Good vibes, 3 albums ago they were making thrash metal.
This is my most guilty guilty pleasure album. I can't tell why I like this but for some reason I do.
Really happy pop album, just ignore the lyrics about murder!
SMUCKERS and OKAGA, CA are two of my favorite songs ever, but the rest if the album is good too! Theirs some god awful tracks, and the production is definitely """"unique"""", but to me it kinda adds to this albums craziness.
One of the few albums that elicited an actual, out loud "what the fuck" after listening.
Really difficult to describe, way to front loaded for front-to-back listening but I still really enjoy singular songs
Much more "playlisty" approach to an album but I really digg it. The darkness and acidity makes it stand out compared to other electronic KG albums. Just wish we could have gotten a middle ground version of the two discs rather than what we got
God i didnt do this album justice first review. What a bat-shit insane album. RDJA feels like a personification whimsy and fun as your guided through a weird DnB wonderland. DrukQs is that whimsy getting twisted into pure insanity and being stuck in a room with it for an hour and forty minutes. Sometimes it screams in your face, sometimes it sobs in the corner, sometimes it just stares it you, but the only consistency is how unpredictable it manages to be. In Richards attempt to catter towards ... read more
Holy shit this album is awesome. Some of Denzels and Kennys best work, just wish we got more.
This album is what I think of when I here the word prog. There IS better prog albums, but this just wholly represents the classic spacey formula I think of when I here the word prog. The playing on every part of the album is great, Gilmour is seriously an incredible guitarist, and all members of Floyd work to make an album that sounds beautiful front to back. This album is a great listen for anyone who wants to get into more artsy music.
The hard rock and garage rock of Nonagon gets pushed forward, becoming one of the heaviest Gizz albums. The three stories portrayed on the album are cool, but the sound of the album is what really gets me. The ugliness, fuzziness, and messiness has been brought to the for front of the album, and its a pretty fun ride! My only real complaint is sometimes the spoken word fits really well into certain tracks, and sometimes it can stop the flow a little. Pretty sick album (literally)

The ending of each track are my two favorite moments in any KG song, but thats not to disparage anything else here. These tracks are super from a production stand point, the spacey instrumentation makes the album sound similar to Polygondwanaland, but this album is much more fun and bright in comparison to the darkness of Polygondwanaland. KG do an excellent job pacing each song to keep the album hypnotic and entertaining. Overall, this album is hella underrated!
Pretty insane evolution from Is This It. Really excited to see where the Strokes go after this.
The production on this album is great, they know when to crank up the noise, but also when to tone it down and create cleaner, psychedelic, pretty passages. The songs themselves also change a lot but still feel pretty tied in with the eastern-rock sound they seem to be going for here.
Insanely front-loaded, the first 10 songs are completely stacked and I can't remember any of the rest, but it captures its aesthetic and sound so well I can't complain. It also isn't lacking in variety, which is a huge plus for me. Really cool album
