I can't remember the last time laughing at an album was a good experience, but this was a great one.
While The Pharcyde is a west coast originated group, the east coast influences are very noticeable. The production has almost a boom bap sound, but it doesn't necessarily carry the street life and braggadocious bars; Rather more playful and witty lyrics that lead to a very entertaining listen.
Funky and jazzy beats help create an amusing and lighthearted atmosphere, but what really stands out ... read more
Fuck man I wanted this to go on forever.
Such a powerful and moving listen that keeps you enthralled for the entire 22 minute runtime. Absolutely phenomenal, immersive, and captivating soundscape with immaculate performances all around. Accompanied by an absolutely beautiful saxophone that dances throughout the album, among other brilliantly well executed instrumental movements. While the vocals are scarce on this EP, they capture every opportunity and deliver with striking and commanding ... read more
My first experience with Brockhampton and I'd say it was a pretty good one.
First off the production SLAPS. From infectious energetic cuts such as Heat and Star, to mellow and emotionally hitting tracks such as Milk and Face, the variety on this album is amazing. I do think that there are some mediocre cuts in the middle of this album, but it starts off exceptionally hot and ends beautifully.
There are no shortage of risks being taken on this project and that leads to both great and obnoxious ... read more
A few issues I have with black metal is how it can sometimes become repetitive, while not really introducing many new aspects, and tacky production. This album dodges all of those things. Kept me guessing and entertained throughout the entire project. And it goes extremely hard. I need more of this.
Favorite tracks: Mills, A Body Shrouded, A Remedy and a Fever, Reflection Pulse Remains
Least Favorite: Found, Oval, and Final
I'm honestly shocked this album flew under my radar for so long, but I'm glad I finally listened to it.
DOOM gives us great lyricism and elite rhymes as he always does, with a bit more experimental production and grimier beats this time. Fun comic samples scattered throughout and entertaining skits, mixed with DOOMs vivid storytelling, is always an enjoyable listen. This album is amazing and I can only see this growing on me over time. Can't wait to give this thing plenty more spins.

What an absolutely brutal album. Love it.
Jane Doe is a flat out exhausting album, in all the greatest ways. It really doesn't give you much room to breathe and when it does, it leaves you awe-inspired (eg. Phoenix in flight). Pummeling and ruthless instramentals with so many moving pieces, which honestly took me a couple listens to fully appreciate. And just insane vocals. I might only be able to tell you a couple lyrics off the entire album, but holy shit are they impressive. It's like if ... read more
The standard for what east coast hip hop should be. Prodigy and Havoc give us unforgettable bars and impeccable production for one of the best hip hop albums of all time. Both are amazing lyricists and flow extraordinaires, and give you quotable on top of quotable. But what really shines through on this LP is the production. It's gritty, it's dark, and it perfectly matches the street life bars it's accompanied by. Havoc's sample flips on this album are absolutely mind blowing, with his sample ... read more
My favorite Candlemass album and one of my favorite doom metal albums of all time.
Messiah's vocal range and track presence is incredibly impressive and even bone chilling at times. Add heavy and amazing riffs throughout and you've got this epic and infectious dark atmosphere that these guys were able to capture so well in the early part of their career. This is absolutely a must listen if you have yet to hear it.

Every time I listen to Primus I like them more. And that scares me.
Sailing The Seas Of Cheese isn't as bold or daring as Frizzle Fry or Pork Soda, but still a fun and entertaining listen. Incredibly funky as always plus unusual, vivid, and enjoyable storytelling throughout the album. To sum it up it's Frizzle Fry without the wow moments.
Favorite tracks: Jerry Was A Race Car Driver, Tommy The Cat, Eleven
Least Favorite: Sathington Waltz
To Be Kind is the thirteenth album by post rock and experimental rock band Swans, and their third album after their return to the music scene in 2010. It's safe to say this release is easily one of my favorite albums of all time, and one of, if not the project that I return to the most.
I think a lot has been said about the concepts and main subjects of this album so I'll touch on that a bit, but I'm mostly going to stick to the things that I love about this album and what make it so great to ... read more
