Weezer - Pinkerton
100
Of course Pinkerton is odd and abrasive instrumentally, but it remains complex on that side. Not to mention the Good Kid Maad City level storytelling on here, inculcating storytelling elements from The Black Hole/Jonas Weezer lore, Rivers personal woes and hedonism, and most importantly, the Madame Butterfly opera and it's central character Pinkerton. is also borderline incelcore.
Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
80
Old world charm and some buddy rock, Weezer's debut solidified them as a force to reckon with. Rivers Cuomo is his usual awkward self mixed with a tad of introspection that would be further worked on in the Pinkerton era, but also, the garage rock texture makes it quite the odd experience but still it feels pretty solid on all fronts, including the conceptual side
Weezer - Songs From the Black Hole
80
A compilation of loose ends, and iconic tracks from their leading projects come together and work out surprisingly decent. Actually, it's really good, and the new content furthens on the whole Jonas concept
Weezer - Weezer (White Album)
82
The white album is a breath of fresh air to many. Yes it's often bland but the pleasant air and youthfullness around it is unheralded from this band, and oh lord do some of the punchier songs on here deliver. it also features Rivers' most solid pop songwriting, ever, period.
Weezer - OK Human
80
Ok Human draws the line between music for young children and an introspective account from an aging man, however, for some reason, it works quite well, and the conceptual side is surprisingly alright. Ok Human deals with relatable day to day woes, and being tired of the same life every day of the week
Weezer - Maladroit
70
The Green Album was a commercial hit, but who cares when the darker, noisier and more pinkerton-ish tones on Maladroit absolutely blow that album out of the water to be honest. The grunge inspiration actually forms the key to this album's long term success.
Weezer - Everything Will Be Alright in the End
80
Way more introspective than it's predecessors, this Weezer album deals with loss in a pretty well put together way. Sure, the album flows well but it also feels a tad inconsistent to be one of their best. Also, there are some fun and poppy songs on here which amplify my personal enjoyment of the album
Weezer - Hurley
65
Hurley is stupid, hurley is weird, hurley has this album cover, hurley has a fred figgleporn endorsement, but hurley is fun
Weezer - Weezer (Red Album)
60
Same goes with the red album, despite the weird every member has their own part sections and dumb stuff like that, the red album is good fun though even though the lyrics here are kinda stupid at times
Weezer - Weezer (Teal Album)
50
The teal album has some tacky synth playing and bare vocal leads, however, the nostalgia quotient on here is high. Sky high, they even got the stranger things kid for a video. Iconic songs and some decent and fun covers
Weezer - Weezer (Black Album)
50
If you don't split your band within three years of it's inception you become Imagine Dragons
Weezer - Pacific Daydream
50
Come on, it isnt a 20, atleast they didnt cop EDM and Trap beats? Not chainsmokers band but still some cliche AJR level theatric summer pop
Weezer - Raditude
45
hahah funni dog album

Weird, really stupid weird and funny but its so bad it ends up good. Atleast it isnt vanilla as fuck
Weezer - Death to False Metal
60
ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzZzzzzzzz
Weezer - Weezer (Green Album)
55
I never liked the colour green. Also this is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Weezer - Make Believe
45
Boring, inoffensive, bland, and the pitchfork blurb is a work of art
