The Orchestra (For Now) - Plan 75
87

The Windmill scene never seems to miss !!

Flume - We Live In A Society
48

this is not hard peggy...

black midi - Cavalcade
88

I apologise, for I have slept heavily on this beauty.

Car Seat Headrest - The Scholars
82

Certainly a step up from "Making a Door Less Open" but by no means their strongest release to date. Despite some incredible highs on the album (most notably the 3 track run of 10+ minute songs) I must eat my words and proclaim that "The Scholars" did not FULLY live up to the hype.

高中正義 [Masayoshi Takanaka] - THE RAINBOW GOBLINS
92

To all of the bandwagoners I say: YOU CAN NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE
Absolutely mind blowing. A revolutionary album turned fully immersive experience.

Travis Scott - UTOPIA
84

Upon relistening this is definitely Travis' best montage to date. Fight me.

“Erased” dropping an incredibly gatekeepable record here

Alvvays - Alvvays
86

The definition of a dependable Indie-pop album. Simplicity at its finest.

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong
84

Really enjoyed the new BCNR sound had some lovely instrumental climaxes, just a little underwhelming in places

Bo Burnham - Inside (The Songs)
87

i am one of bo's hoes

Car Seat Headrest - CCF (I'm Gonna Stay With You)
91

This album is going to be generational. Quote me on it.

Mojave 3 - Ask Me Tomorrow
87

A sensational listen from start to finish. Emotional, soothing, and incredibly moving

Black Country, New Road - For the Cold Country
79

The ending pulled it back for me, but still nothing revolutionary coming from these new BCNR singles...

Jacob Sartorius - BOY BAND
71

Unfortunately the flow was insane and the guitar riff was hard asf

Alex G - TRICK
67

Still unable to find myself aboard the Alex G hype train

Childish Gambino - Bando Stone and The New World
59

Really just all over the place, inconsistencies in the production and general feel of the album make it a confusing listen at best.

JoJo Siwa - Guilty Pleasure
21

undoubtedly my toughest listen to date

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU: DIRECTOR'S CUT
83

An understandably less cohesive rerelease of Peggy's ILDMLFY, its strength laying in the records previously unheard bangers as well as a wider raw and unfiltered feel to the listening experience

On Carly Harrison - Natural Disaster
"Nothing wrong with a song being small and intimate, but if you produce a song where the instrumental is little more than a tapping of a few keys on a piano monotonously for the entire song, it’s going to sound thin, incomplete, and boring. Furthermore when the vocals sound that clunky, and frankly, bad, it’s hard to really get in touch with the message of the lyrics which, upon inspection, seem to be about as unique and thought provoking as every mainstream pop song, with the added bonus of being hard to follow and lacking in any coherent story. The song is a good first effort and I see the vision, but lying to people and saying they have talent just because the truth hurts makes them complacent and is an insult to true art and good music"
On Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
"Hadn’t considered this, definitely something to consider when I give the album a relisten !!"
