this has higher highs than mg ultra but is a little less consistent imo

mannnnnnn I wanted to like this but it's mostly a bunch of abstract bleeps and bloops and I just can't find much enjoyment out of it. like sure it sounds cool I guess but compared to what we've gotten from them in the past it's such a let down. I get why this and flood format aren't under the 'mid-air thief' name as it's just so different from that

im late but RIP D'Angelo. this album cover perfectly represents the sound of this. it's like if you took brown sugar and made it more stripped back and naked. the result is one of the sexiest and smoothest albums ever made, this is music man.

I only recently started hearing about this band not too long ago and decided to check this out only because I was too scared to listen to the new tame impala record (I might have to listen to it eventually out of curiousity), but holy moly this is so good. Everything just sounds so on point here, from the vocals to the production.
