Once you hear it, you will not be the same person you were before. Pop perfection.

Boards of Canada are so good that this album manages to be their third best album.

After 13 years, Boards of Canada have finally come back. Their mysterious and ethereal soundscapes have captivated people for years with albums such as Music Has The Right To Children and Geogaddi being considered some of the best electronic albums of all time.
For the past few months, I've ... read more
Almost as good as Music Has the Right to Children but slightly worse solely because of the last track, Magic Window. Much darker and ominous but it's Boards of Canada, of course it's incredible. What an experience.

I fucking love Genesis!

A beautiful, expansive, and theatrical prog rock opera. They're completely free to expressing their ideas here. But, I think this album does drag on a little too long with takes it down a few points for me. I think they could've deleted 5 or so tracks and it still would've been a great album. But, some tracks like Carpet Crawl and In The Cage make up for it.

Underrated as fuck! Absolutely devine. This is one of the best prog albums I've ever heard. Lady Fantasy is one of the best prog tracks ever, probably top 10, and Nimrodel is really great as well. I wish more people would listen to this album.

Incredible. Robert Fripp's lead guitar makes me ascend. Easily my favorite Bowie song.
Two of the most incredible songs ever created. Unbelievable this album came out in 1969, what a piece of magic.
One of the greatest songs to ever grace my ears.
After 13 years, Boards of Canada have created music, and so far, this is shaping to be the album of the year.
A classic electronic album with several great songs. Truly an experience.

Some of the best mashups of some of the best songs of all time. Mindblowing. Probably my favorite live album ever.

Be fore-warned! Marquee Moon contains some of the best guitar work in punk music! Prepare yourself!

This album features some very rhythmic and catchy beats that will get stuck in your head. Some of the most anthemic choruses and guitar structures ever are on this album.
There are a lot of great tracks that I could talk about but my obvious favorite is the title track, Marquee Moon. Though ... read more
Pet Sounds is one of the most beautiful and mind bending projects I've ever heard. It doesn't sound like any other of their music except for stuff like Good Vibrations and Surf's Up. Something like this had never been heard before and was an inspiration for more masterpieces to come (Revolver, Sgt Pepper's). It's lush and layered and unlike their surf songs and tell a deep and en-powering story about love and life and death.
Every track has something to offer. God ... read more
Extremely disappointed. Why must you use autotone, Julian? It worked on Human Sadness, but it doesn't work here. The instrumentation and production is good, it's just that autotone that ruins it for me.
Wow, after all this time, Kanye actually drops his first good album in years! Though it has some flaws, like the lyrics lacking and the samples being a bit unorganized, it's a good album. ALL THE LOVE is a truly beautiful track with some great singing from Ye and some very cool vocoder work in the bridge and it's a grand song about overcoming his struggles with mental health. KING is a grand and powerful opener that brings you right in. The album isn't very consistent though, and ... read more
Listening To All My Recommendations: Album #1- Safe 2 Say
An interesting and unexpected R&B project with tons of great songs and good vocals. I didn't expect myself to enjoy this album as much as I did upon first listen, but I like it! I do feel like it gets a bit generic at times, and a bit slow and boring towards the ending of this album, plus the songwriting is a little worse than I'd like, but still gets the job done. I think that New Jack Story is the most intriguing song on ... read more
