twenty one pilots - Clancy
74

So... it's not Trench- or anything close to Trench- but that doesn't ruin the fact it's still pretty damn good. It's more rock filled than TOP's other stuff, with songs like "Next Semester", "Vignette", and "Navigating" being showing an unusual punk side to the band. Very much an alternative album! Paladin Strait is specifically a Dema lore track. Overall, it's pretty good and would recommend a listen for fans of Trench.

Green Day - American Idiot
75

Filled to the brim with punk rock anthems- American Idiot stands out from the croud. It's made as a literal "musical" and has a very sweeping and interesting narrative. Most is amazing- but in the middle some are just mediocre, taking down my rating a bit. Overall, it's fun and great!

Faves: American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Whatsername
Least Faves: Are We The Waiting, She's a Rebel, Letterbomb

Radiohead - The Bends

"Just" listen to this album.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahaha.... anyways it's actually a really excellent album by my favorite band. Definitely holds some of the band's heavier songs, "Just", "My Iron Lung", etc. It's not as good as the classics (OK Computer, In Rainbows) but it's still pretty dang good. High(and dry)ly recommend.

Faves: Street Spirit (Fade Out), Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Planet Telex, High and Dry, My Iron Lung

Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
69

This album is extremely over hated- I mean like it's not perfection, but you gotta admit, it's better than some of Panic's other stuff. I mean comparing "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" is as easy as breathing in air- it's never gonna be "Hey Look Ma, I Made It". All my favorite Panic! songs are from this album and this helped me get into punk- so kudos.

System of a Down - Toxicity
96

Let's just say I agree with the user score completely with this one. This is metal right here!

Edit: I loved it even more over time. What a great and fun metal album!

Faves: Toxicity, Chop Suey!, Aerials, Needles, Deer Dance, Forest, ATWA, Psycho
Least Faves: Bounce, X, Jet Pilot

Muse - Absolution
82

I used to rate this a 99 until I listened to Origins of Symmetry and it took it down a bit because of how much better it is than Absolution, all though Absolution is still a spectacular album. Anyways, it's a pretty good third album from the band and a great jump into mainstream for them.

Faves: Stockholm Syndrome, Apocalypse Please, Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Falling Away with You, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
Least Faves: Blackout, Endlessly

Radiohead - In Rainbows
100

I think I might need to take 15 Step(s) back to describe the listening experience during this perfectly produced rock album is.

Faves: Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, All I Need, Jigsaw Falling Into Place, Nude, Reckoner, Bodysnatchers, 15 Step, House of Cards
Least Faves: None

The second I put on headphones to listen to this I was completely Lost! Very underrated and very amazing.

Faves: Violet Hill, 42, Death and All His Friends, Viva La Vida, Yes, Lovers in Japan
Least Faves: Lost!, Strawberry Swing

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
92

TBP is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I never tuned into this one. I've been a pretty big fan of songs like "Welcome to the Black Parade", "House of Wolves", "Mama" and others for a while now. Then, I heard this album finally, and man, I was NOT disappointed. Comparing Three Cheers and TBP to any other of their other newer stuff is easy asf, because this is their prime, dang!

Edit: Better than TBP, absolute perfection- close-ish to beating OK ... read more

Matt: Hey band, what ideas do we have today?
Chris: I got one, what about we completely rip off Radiohead, but actually make it good
Matt: Great idea!

Faves: New Born, Plug In Baby, Space Dementia, Citizen Erased, Micro Cuts, Bliss
Least Faves: Feeling Good, Screenager

twenty one pilots - Doubt (demo)
68

Meh... it's better than the original. Nothing special though.

Linkin Park - Meteora

I hate critics.

Faves: Faint, Breaking the Habit, Don't Stay, Lying From You, Numb, Somewhere I Belong
Least Faves: Nobody's Listening, Session

twenty one pilots - Trench

Oh I know how to levitate up off my feet when I listen to this amazing album!!
It used to be my favorite of all time, but it changed slightly. Jumpsuit takes this review up significantly, that is an amazing alt-rock opener unlike any other TOP song.

Faves: Jumpsuit, Pet Cheetah, Chlorine, Levitate, The Hype, Morph, Legend, Leave the City
Least Faves: Cut My Lip, Smitheereens

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
91

Underrated (for critics)

Faves: Welcome to the Black Parade, House of Wolves, Mama, Dead!, I Don't Love You, The End.
Least Faves: Blood

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
85

Edit: 95->85 A Rush Of Blood to the Head is still a good album and is their best offer, but it doesn't transcend or go beyond its time in any way, and is a fairly average record of the time. Plus, it gets a little boring sometimes. But, in the end, it's still a good album that has many bangers like The Scientist, Clocks, and Politik.

This is why Oldplay is better than Newplay- show this to them "Biutyful" fans out there and see what they think.

Faves: Politik, A Rush of ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer

Complete and utter alternative rock perfection. Every song is a banger, amazingly produced, and just all around made with so much heart, soul, and time. It's, by far, my favorite album of all time.

Faves: Let Down, Exit Music (For A Film), Paranoid Android, Airbag, No Surprises, Karma Police, Climbing Up The Walls, Subterranean Homesick Alien
Least Faves: None
