Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #1- The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

So, this is my first ever review for legendary art rock and prog. rock band, Pink Floyd. And of course, I have to go in order, so to start this album. Unlike most other Pink Floyd albums, this one is strictly psychedelic, going on a crazy adventure through fantastical worlds and traveling among the cosmos. I expected to enjoy this album and give it a high score, and it sure met expectations. The first 3 songs and ... read more

Daft Punk - Discovery
99

So, I get that Daft Punk, and this album in particular, is "french house" and "disco" and stuff, and I totally agree with that statement. But, am I based that Discovery is (some-what) a rock album. I mean come on, it has guitar, drums, and even bass in some songs. It has some strong guitar riffs in some songs (like Face to Face for example). You know it kind of reminds me of Radiohead's Kid A, except you dance to it, not cry in your bed because of how depressed you get ... read more

Viagra Boys - viagr aboys
77

This album, well it's good, indeed. It's my first ever experience with Viagra Boys and I quite enjoyed it. The Bog Body is an amazing song and my favorite from the album. I wasn't a huge fan on the vocalist, i think his voice was a little bit too deep to my liking, I just think I enjoyed the vibes of the songs.

Faves; The Bog Body, Uno II, Dirty Boyz, Man Made of Meat, You N33d Me
Least Faves: Best in Show Pt. IV, River King, Store Policy

Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns
75

This album is extremely underrated in Linkin Park's discography and much more hated too (for some reason). I think it's amazing- and a totally good direction for them (experimenting with art rock). All songs have some to offer, even if there is some short filler songs between some of the main songs. Highlights: Waiting for the End is like my favorite LP song of all time, with some amazing Chester vocals, it is so good! When They Come For Me features some of the best Mike rapping of ... read more

Green Day - Dookie
84

This album- fun, energetic and fast-paced, making for a pretty enjoyable experience overall. It's a classic!

Faves: Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case, Longview, She, Burnout, Chump, When I Come Around, Having a Blast
Least Faves: All By Myself, Pulling Teeth, Emenius Sleepus

Boston - More Than a Feeling
100

This is a song about, well, songs and how they're special to us (how they can remind us of people you know and love). And it's good alright. An absolute classic and a definite must listen

Linkin Park - LIVING THINGS
67

A not too bad electronic-esc album with LP's signature alternative, rap-rock touch. This is still nothing like Hybrid Theory and Meteora- but it's good none the less.

Faves: Burn it Down, Castle of Glass, In My Remains, Roads Untraveled, Lost in the Echo
Least Faves: Until It Breaks, Lies Greed Misery, Tinfoil, Victimized

My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade (Steve Aoki 10th Anniversary Remix)

Why the hell does this exist?? Who in their right mind approved this??

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
88

This album is the first album by indie rock band Arctic Monkeys, and they sure as hell made an amazing album, even with little experience. I loved listening to the whole thing fully and it sure is a garage rock adventure filled with most of the band's best songs! Highly reccomend!

Faves: A Certain Romance, From the Ritz to the Rubble, The View From The Afternoon, I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, Perhaps Vampires Is a Bit Strong But.., Still Take You Home, When the Sun Goes ... read more

Linkin Park - From Zero
60

So, last night for a while now I had known about a Linkin Park concert to be happening in Austin, which is a few hours away from where I reside. I never thought that we could be able to go to that concert, until I realized that's where exactly where we were going on this long drive to some place that my dad told me we were going to go to. All I felt before the concert started was hyped and excited to see one of my favorite bands preform. When they came out, everything went crazy, and it ... read more

Linkin Park - Unshatter
86

Nothing too amazing, but actually better than Up From The Bottom imo. Some really good Emily vocals here.

Linkin Park - One More Light
23

This album stands against everything Linkin Park has ever done- most songs are overproduced and have terrible lyrics and are just are down-right shitty. Yeah, I know One More Light is a very good song- and I would agree on that front, but other than that.. I'm glad they kinda sourta went back to their metal roots with From Zero even with a new lead singer. RIP Chester Bennington, the GOAT!!

American Authors - Best Day of My Life
65

Ok, ok, ok, let me explain! The only reason I rated it higher than like a 50 is because of the fact that this was the anthem of my young childhood. I used to vibe and dance around to it all day, just enjoying life. Other than that, it's just a fine song, I guess.

Tones And I - Dance Monkey

THEY SAY "DANCE FOR ME, DANCE FOR ME, DANCE FOR ME, OH, OH, OH"!!
As you can see a beautifully produced and beautifully sung masterpiece. This is the greatest thing out of 2019!

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
95

A beautiful, ambient, and immersive album showing a more pop side to Radiohead's art rock. It's been almost 9 years since the album's release, and we're all waiting for the next album, whenever it will come!

Faves: Ful Stop, True Love Waits, Burn the Witch, Daydreaming, Decks Dark, Identikit, The Numbers
Least Faves: Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor Rich Man Poor Man Beggar Man Thief

twenty one pilots - twenty | one | pilots
65

Twenty One Pilots' first album is the most piano oriented album in their entire discog, and piano rock is my middle name (it's actually Liam, but who's asking)! It's not the best TOP album- but also not the worst, it's just in-between.

Faves: Implicit Demand For Proof, Trapdoor, Taxi Cab, Isle of Flightless Birds, Air Catcher
Least Faves: The Pantaloon, Fall Away, Before You Start Your Day

twenty one pilots - Vessel
72

Nothing really to say here, just a pretty good electropop/rock album.

Faves: Ode to Sleep, Holding On To You, Guns For Hands, Migraine, Trees, Truce, Car Radio
Least Faves: The Run and Go, House of Gold, Fake You Out

twenty one pilots - Blurryface
60

Kids, this album is called radio slop. What this album does is make a whole bunch of mediocre songs, put them together, and it makes an album. Anyways, I liked Heavydirtysoul, that's a good opener. But other than that, most songs are just overproduced slop (some bad, most mediocre).

Faves: Heavydirtysoul, Stressed Out, Hometown, Goner, Tear in My Heart
Least Faves: Lane Boy, Doubt, Not Today, Fairly Local
