This single is super good and catchy, it's not perfect, but based on this, Breach is gonna be fire
The Strokes are SO good! I've actually loved their music for a while now, I just have never done a review on any of their albums yet. So, I might as well start off with I love the pure garage rock-esc style they have going, it feels full of energy and life. The slacker guitar riffs to the tight drums, gives the album a unique style, which pretty much defines 2000's indie rock. Plus, Julian's raspy, yet melancholic vocals really give the album an extra push.

So, the album is good, and a very nice and electronic listen, but it's very forgettable. I mean I forgot half the album and I finished listening to it 5 minutes ago. Still, I enjoyed the time I had, and while it may not be as creative or as written well as the other albums by the band, it's still a very good experimental approach to rock and electronic music.
Faves: Lotus Flower, Codex, Bloom, Separator
Least Faves: Feral, Morning Mr. Magpie
Hail to the Thief is a big take back to early Radiohead, with art and alternative rock being the stars of the show. Being their punkiest outfit yet, it's still unique and original. It has some slower songs like There, There, Sail to the Moon, etc. But then it has the crazy 2+2=5 being one of my favorite Radiohead album openers of all time. Not to mention, it's also the band's longest album ever, no wonder it was so hard to record.

While it may not be up to the standards of Kid A, this album is sure a great sequel to it. This album focuses more on jazz than Kid A did, and still a lot of crazy good instrumentals and lyrics. Hunting Bears and Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors are really big take aways, being kind of pointless instrumental heavy tracks.

An absolutely amazing electronic rock album. It's very consistent, there's no bad songs, and each moments is unexpected and amazing. HIGHLY recommend.
Faves: How to Disappear Completely, Idioteque, Motion Picture Soundtrack, Optimistic, Everything in Its Right Place, The National Anthem, Morning Bell

So, I still need to listen to all of Radiohead's albums, even though they're my favorite band. So, here I am. First of all, Pablo Honey, the band's attempt at making an album similar to Nirvana, with that grunge-y, rebellious spirit. Here's the thing about this album, people put it down so much, and I don't understand really why. I mean if I came up with an answer, it'd probably be that it's very basic compared to the marvels of albums like OK Computer and In ... read more
More, a beautiful and melancholic journey, with a whole lot of strings used, yet fun and adventurous at the same time. It even encompasses some classical and spoken word elements. It might not have the strongest lyrics, but it sure does have some good production and the vocalist, Jarvis, does a good job here. I would recommend.
Faves: Got to Have Love, Spike Island, Background Noise, The Hymn of the North, Grown Ups, Slow Jam
Least Faves: Farmers Market, Partial Eclipse, Tina
I don't have much to say about this album. It has a lot of classic songs, like You're My Best Friend, Love of My Life, and of course, Bohemian Rhapsody. Bohemian Rhapsody might be overplayed, but it's really good alright. It does feel like you're listening to an opera. It's mainly a art/hard rock album, but it also mixes music hall and gospel, making it unique and beyond its time. The production is pretty good too.

After 13 days of listening to Pink Floyd's studio albums, this is the last review of this series, so hooray! I hope you have enjoyed my Pink Floyd reviews. Now, here's the review:
Somehow, this album came out over 20 years since the band's last album, and pretty much completely instrumental aside from some field recordings and the last track, Louder than Words. The album is not bad particularly, the instrumental tracks ... read more
Sadly, another song has fallen victim to the weird my tablet only 30 second glitch. So when I try to play Chop Suey! on there, at 30 seconds it goes completely bonkers and is nothing like the actual song. I thought it was a temporary glitch just on all of the app I use, so I tried it on my phone, and it works, like wtf? I thought it was just that song, but no, now it's the title track, Paranoid, as well.
Anyways, I listened to the album on my phone and it is absolutely peak heavy metal. ... read more
This is a film soundtrack??! It's one of the most consistent and entertaining, yet sentimental albums I've ever heard. And, it's an pop icon. Highly recommend.
Faves: Purple Rain, Let's Go Crazy, When Doves Cry, I Would Die 4 U, Take Me With U, Computer Blue
Least Faves: Darling Nikki, Baby I'm a Star

It's now been 2 years after The Wall, and the band has been not good after that, The Final Cut being just ok and A Momentary Lapse of Judgement being their worst album (excluding Ummagumma). Now, their next, and last, good album containing the band's best song post-Waters, High Hopes. I mean the whole album is good, but all songs other than 3 have 70-79, which are good songs of course, but not the greatest ever. The album is ... read more
While it might not be at the show-stopping and genre breaking standards of Discovery, it still provides a very cleansing, immersive, and entertaining experience. While Discovery was more raw and it had a lot more sampling used, Random Access Memories makes a new sound, focusing more on the disco/prog. pop side of things. The duo put a big focus on their perspective on the music industry, that music is dead, it has no life, no flavor, no special sauce (or something). Besides, that it focuses on ... read more
Personally, it's not as amazing as everyone says it is, but it's still really good. It's a very unique concept album here with it literally being from the perspective from his alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust. I mean the lyrics are just amazing, I mean you can just look at the lyrics without figuring out its meaning that they're good lyrics. Plus, the production is pretty good too. I mean the album is just so nostalgic and definitely memorable. RIP legend!

CHS is one of my favorite bands, so I don't really know why I haven't listened to this album yet and it's been out for a month. But now, I thought it was about time, and of course, it's great. It does not even hail in comparison to albums like Teens of Denial and, of course, Twin Fantasy, but it's pretty good. It doesn't really feel like a CSH album, but that's not necessarily bad, it's experimental, unique, and a new step in the band's sound. It ... read more

After The Final Cut, we're just to the point that any major resemblance to the golden age (Wish You Were Here, The Dark Side of the Moon, etc.). I at least expected to give this album over a 55, but no. Honestly, what did I expect? I mean it sounds nothing like Pink Floyd, and it hardly even holds the title. It sounds like an '80s sound which doesn't fit Pink Floyd, with synthesizers and all. I don't even ... read more
This album was the last we'd see of Muse at their peak, it's an amazing alt. rock album with more prog. then ever, mainly given to us in the form of Knights of Cydonia. I mean Map of the Problematique and Starlight are great and all but Knights of Cydonia is top 3 Muse songs easily, it is SO good. The way the chorus is sung and the iconic instrumental build up and then it just blows up. And then they sing it again during the instrumentals, just an awesome closer. Besides Knights, this ... read more
So this is my first ever folk review on here, hooray! So to start it off, I had to do the best folk album first of course, and oh my god is it good. Lyrically brilliant. Sonically brilliant (I enjoyed it a lot in headphones). And it's haunting, but beautiful at the same time. I mean I just want to cry after listening to this at how depressing it is. It's also quite genre blending, it's not just folk, it also encompasses a lot of noise and slacker rock, as well as ambient and ... read more
All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked- Album #10- The Final Cut
I mean it's not really bad in any sense but it has no clear direction. It mainly just includes demos for The Wall and a couple of original songs, but that's about it, really nothing else to say.
Faves: The Final Cut, The Gunner's Dream, Not Now John, Your Possible Pasts, Two Suns in the Sunset
