Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
91

Honestly, I did not expect to enjoy this album as much as I did. The instrumentals are amazing and of course you have iconic Weezer riff. And you have the goofy and weird lyrics that have much more meaning behind them then you would expect. Lastly, My Name Is Jonas is underrated. It's not getting enough praise, that song is a certified banger.

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial
90

Oh my god! Another banger Car Seat Headrest album! There's only really one skip on here, which is Joe Goes to School, I think I would have rather had Connect the Dots (The Saga of Frank Sinatra) as the closer. It gives off a completely different energy than Twin Fantasy does, and that's not a bad thing, it feels much more indie and vintage. Plus, it can get pretty heavy at times. Lastly, I stand as The Ballad of the Costa Concordia being one of the greatest prog. rock songs ever ... read more

Pink Floyd - The Wall

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #9- The Wall

This album feels like you're going through a musical the whole time, each song blending together perfectly, even having some of the band's best songs like Comfortably Numb and Hey You, with also containing a lot of filler and a whole lot of songs. It may be the band's best looking project, the golden era is over and it ended with a great album of course.

Pink Floyd - Animals

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #8- Animals

Edit: 92->100 After several relistens, I've just kept loving it more and more and more. It's an incredible album, featuring some of the best riffs and songwriting in the band's career. It's super good and super underrated, and has become one of my favorite albums ever.

It's quite similar to Wish You Were Here and The Dark Side of the Moon, but also it's heavier and very unique. Like, I don't think I've ... read more

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #7- Wish You Were Here

Wish You Were Here, a practically perfect album filled with everything you could need, Shine on You Crazy Diamond and of course the classic, Wish You Were Here itself. It's beautiful, immersive, and filled with special moments that make your head explode. I have nothing else to say about this album, just check it out yourself.

Gorillaz - Demon Days

So, this album is great. It's a unique combination of art pop, alternative rock, hip hop, and even some gospel and psychedelic pop put into a fully functional album, and it works! It even has lore somehow!

Faves: Feel Good Inc., Kids With Guns, Dirty Harry, DARE, El Manana, November Has Come, Every Planet We Reach is Dead, Demon Days
Least Faves: Intro, Don't Get Lost in Heaven, White Light

blink-182 - Enema of the State

I honestly wish I could rate this album higher, but some lyrics on songs are just corny and not written great. Most songs, though, have great instrumentals, and are very fun to listen to. Adam's Song is great all around. Anyways, I enjoyed it and it wasn't much, but it was something. I would recommend.

Faves: Adam's Song, What's My Age Again?, Aliens Exist, Dumpweed, Going Away to College
Least Faves: The Party Song, Wendy Clear, All The Small Things (kinda overrated)

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon
100

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #6- The Dark Side of the Moon

Well, of course it's a 100, the album is a classic, and I have a lot to say about it. First off, it joins the top 5, hooray! But also there's a lot of central themes in this album which are quite easy to point out. The songs symbolize themes of life, and living it to its best, death, craziness (symbolized by all the crazy laughing seen in some songs), but also the anxieties of modern life. I think the transition from ... read more

The Killers - Hot Fuss

I mean they cooked with the first half, but that second half is so weak compared to the first one, worse lyrics, worse sound, worse everything. The only reason my rating is this high is because songs like Mr. Brightside are just so good, and are of course extremely catchy. Recommend the first half, but skip the second really (except for maybe On Top).

Pink Floyd - Meddle

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #5- Meddle

So, finally, we've entered the golden age of Pink Floyd starting with Meddle. The full album is good as a whole, but Echoes carries taking us from place to place, from sound to sound, being a beautiful (almost) completely instrumental piece. It gave us a hint of what's to come like The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. The other songs are great, other than Seamus (only being served as filler if nothing else), especially One ... read more

I think I found a stronger 99 than White Pony, sorry guys... anyways I'm not doing a deep dive into QOTSA or anything, this is the second album I've reviewed from them, and them being my 4th favorite artist as of now, obviously I really enjoyed Songs for the Deaf. Plus, I've heard a couple songs from Rated R and even this album before (I Appear Missing, My God Is the Sun, I Sat By the Ocean). And even though it's not as good as Songs for the Deaf, because of how unique and ... read more

I mean like, it's a classic. How could anybody not like this album. I mean it's not perfect, Moonchild isn't amazing like all the other songs, taking off a point or two, but it still is an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Edit: I don't even care about Moonchild anymore. The rest of this album is just too good, man.

Faves: 21st Century Schizoid Man, Epitaph, The Court of the Crimson King

The Callous Daoboys - I Don't Want to See You in Heaven

Oh, damn, it's good, it's real good. It's crazy and heavy a lot- and then it just turns emotional, slow and soft. How do they do it?

Faves: Country Song in Reverse, Two-Headed Trout, Schizophrenia Legacy, Full Moon Guidance, Distracted by the Mona Lisa, Tears on Lambo Leather, Idiot Temptation Force

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
94

I honestly don't know how one album can be this amazing, because I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this album, from the lyrics being excellent, to the production, and even having different vocalists star in each song. Even with all of the vocalists, they work together in the songs, fitting the spirit and feel of the thing as a whole, still making the album cohesive. But, I really despised one part of the album, and I don't think people talk about this enough. It's not much of a ... read more

Pink Floyd - Ummagumma

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #3- Ummagumma

Honestly, I just want to get to the golden age of Pink Floyd already. I mean their first two albums were quite good, but this, this is bad. It's a huge step down from their first two albums, but hey, at least we get some great live songs in the beginning of the album, but that's all it's good for. I just have one question in my head about this album... WHY THE HECK DOES SEVERAL SPECIES OF SMALL FURRY ANIMALS GATHERED TOGETHER IN ... read more

I'm not known to be too much of a critic, I just think if the lyrics are good and if it sounds good, I like it. Plus, I generally give mostly positive reviews on everything, but this album, oh man, this album, we have a lot to talk about. First off, how is this album post-punk and indie rock?! It feels like generic guitar pop the entire time, with maybe some pop rock and power pop elements mixed in, but who in their right mind chose the genres (no offense)? I mean, most of the songs ... read more

Deftones - White Pony

So, as you can see through my reviews so far, I don't listen or review much metal at all (except for some Linkin Park and Toxicity), so now I had to listen to this banger of an album, White Pony. I've listened to Digital Bath before listening to White Pony, but that's all, and if the album is as good as the song, I'm in for something, and oh my gosh was a right. This is 100% the strongest 99 I will ever give to an album, so close to a 100, it's hardly a 99. The only ... read more

Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets

All Pink Floyd Albums Ranked: Album #2- A Saucerful of Secrets

So, this album is kind, like, the same as The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, but slightly worse, and shorter too. In this album, we have probably the only not amazing Pink Floyd song that's over 10 minutes long, plus a couple of other songs too. Let There Be More Light is the best on the album, because I have no based opinions on any song or album and pretty much agree with everyone on everything (for the most part). It's ... read more

Nothing on this entire album hails in comparison to Time to Pretend and Kids. Oh my god, they are the absolute pinacol of electronic music and definitely a must listen. If those two songs weren't on the album, I think that my review would be much lower. Anyways, the full album as a a whole is pretty good, recommend for electronica and psychedelic rock fans.
