NEW MUSIC REVIEW #3
I LOVE THE BOOK NEUROMANCER.
And when I saw that this album, from a band I only really knew from a high Fantano score, was releasing a new album whose title was a direct allusion to the masterpiece of science fiction that the novel is, I was super excited, and went into this project with high expectations. And it did not disappoint. Super groovy, industrial, sci-fi cyberpunk beats and vibes throughout. And while the electronic grooves and varying tempos (all which work very ... read more
SWANS DEEP DIVE, Pt. 2

It begins with just the strumming of an acoustic guitar, punctuated first by this album's thunderous kick drum sound. It evolves into the 14-minute masterpiece 'In The Shadow Of Our Pale Companion', which ... read more
WEEKLY NEW MUSIC REVIEW #1
This week, I'm reviewing Black Milk & Fat Ray's new album Food from the Gods.
Black Milk and Fat Ray are a rapper/producer duo from Detroit, a city that really has it's own unique, gritty sound and foothold in the underground rap game.
Both have been making consistently solid music for the last decade and a half or so, you may know Black Milk best from producing Danny Brown and co.'s legendary posse cut 'Really Doe' off his ... read more
