Extremely disappointed. Could’ve been way more impactful. The sound is polished and nice but but the songs themselves are lacking quite a bit. I have returned to it even less than I thought I would.

A few powerful moments, feels a little unfulfilling and needed more. Some cool ideas but this one kind of came and went.

UPDATE: After a few re listens it’s grown quite a bit and I feel like I’m getting what they were going for a lot better now.

A&W is a great song. There’s a small handful of good songs a lot of slightly drab balladry, it’s bloated and the runtime makes it a hard sell. It’s possible I’m being a bit harsh but NFR! is a leagues better example from her.

This one’s disappointingly kinda a snoozer for me. Songs are quality but there’s not much to latch onto long-term. A few fairly enjoyable moments and nothing that’s offensively bad. Just… eh.

I have genuinely no idea what she is saying.

“Heaven Or Las Vegas” is an absolute dream pop essential. From the moment it starts I feel like my ears are being baptized. Shoegaze + a proper helping of gorgeous synth pop = this album.

“Live at Bush Hall” is a beautiful and emotionally potent live experience.

I generally really like how the band is sounding, though I think Issac Wood vocally, was a pretty big pillar for the band’s overall sound and appeal. I hope this one grows on my a little bit, I feel like I’m missing something here.

This year has been incredibly solid so far. Yves Tumor tries their hand at a slightly more poppy sound on this release.

This one is insane, each song hits just as hard as the last. The entire sound is so raw and the vocals are nasty. I found myself 100% entertained through the whole runtime, it doesn’t waste time or beat around the bush. There’s not a single flat or dull moment across this whole thing. From the moment it starts it feels like being trampled, and there’s an extremely creative blend of genre going on here. It’s visceral.

I first heard this album a few years back and has grown to be one of my personal favorites. Such a great experience. Many might argue that the skits are annoying, though I think they are almost essential to this album’s experience at this point, I partly agree with that and they can be rather testing at times. From the mind-boggling flows, the incredible rhyme schemes, and the masterful production. It’s a must-listen for music fans and has aged beautifully.

Really special sound to this album, it sounds like a fever dream. Whether or not that's a good thing is up to the listener.
