One of my favorite albums of the 70s and a true comfort album for me. Nick Drake’s “Pink Moon” is an incredibly special album to me as well as many others. It’s nothing complex or boundary-pushing but the place it takes the listener through the simplicity and undeniable power is anything but boring and surface level.

I truly don’t understand the high ratings on this album. As someone who loves after hours and dawn fm, this lacks in most of the way that make those albums great. The songs aren’t bad per se but the whole thing is extremely overproduced and lacking in direction. Feels like leftovers from the last two records.
