Pretty Good! I'll give a review of each song since there's only 4.
Emergancy (Crab Mix): It's just the original with some extra vocals. It's alright. 7.5/10
O Star: A slow, sweet song. If you want a comparison from All We Know Is Falling, think of Conspiracy. 8/10
Stuck On You: It's a cover that works pretty well. Hayley's vocals are damn Good on this! I think It's better than the original. 8.5/10
This Circle: Yeah. It's the best. 8.7/10
This is where Paramore Pop punk stylings peaked. It bloody fantastic. Riot will hold a special place for me since it's how I got into the band, but this far better. It keeps packing powerful, exhilerating punches that keep on landing. If you want to try the band, start with Riot, then go onto this to see how much a band can improve in 2 years.
Favourite tracks: Ignorance, Brick By Boring Brick, All I Wanted
Least favourite: Misguided Ghosts
Note: I'm reviewing the UK version of this album. It has 2 extra tracks. I'll Bring those up later
This album cool as hell!
I've had a passing interest in Queens Of The Stone Age for a quite a while now. Up until listening to this album, I'd only ever heard The Lost Art Of Keeping a Secret (in Driver San Fransisco) and Make It Wit Chu (in Guitar Hero 5). I liked them. It wasn't until I picked up a copy of this album on CD a few months back I thought I should probably actually listen to one ... read more
While definitely the worst SZNZ ep, It's still alright. It makes me happy but not really anything else. It focuses a bit too much on the Easter side of spring though, so there's alot of biblical stuff. I don't really care but still.
Also Garden of Eden is overhated, change my mind.
Favourite Songs: Across the Meadow, Wild At Heart
Least favourite: Opening Night
Update 65–>70. More good songs than I remember
Not too shabby. It's alright and even catchy at times. Obvious highlight is Here It Goes Again but I enjoy the others well enough.
Favourite Songs: Here It Goes Again, Let It Rain, Oh Lately It's So Quiet
Least Favourite: The House Wins (Not counting 9027 KM because it's not on UK editions)
For 2 guys and a drum machine, This pretty good! As a debut it succeeds at introducing the bands style of sound and writing. The main chhunk of the album is upbeat instrumental with weird lyrics. It works so well!
Favourite Songs: Nothings Gonna Change My Clothes, She's an Angel, Don't Let's Start
Least favourite: Toddler Hiway
Edit: 90 —> 95 I love this album way too much
This is a great album on it's own sure. But in the wider context of Weezer and there output before hand, this is amazing. Nothing much to say. Great guitar. Actually good lyrics and a 3 song ending that is perfect.
Favourite songs: Futerscope Trilogy, Ain't got nobody, Eulogy for a Rock band
Least favourite: Cleopatra
Certified English Vocaloid banger
Best song on the album personally. Sad the monkey went to heaven though
Genuinely one of my favourite albums of all time. It's moody, atmospheric sound hit me like a truck on both my first and second listen. Brilliant.
Favourite Songs: NYC, Stella was a diver and she was always down, Roland
Least favourite: Hands Away
A pretty satisfying end to a pretty satisfying Quadrilogy. It feels like Winter rolled into one good EP (I Know that's what the whole SZNZ thing is about but this is the best example of it)
Favourite Songs: Basketball, Dark Enough To See The Stars, The Deep and Dreamless Sleep
Least Favourite: Sheraton Commander
To be honest, This blew my expectations out the water. It's a good, listenable, full length EP about Christmas!
Favourite track: Aurora Borealis
Lest Favourite: Prelude to Presents
This is some good stuff right here. Surprised at how good it is!
Favourite songs: Pressure, Emergancy, Here we go again, Conspiracy
Least favourite:Whoa
I really wanted to fall asleep when I listened to this. It's so boring and is literally nothing. I can't even say there is a stand out song they all mesh together for me. It all sounds the same
