Motörhead - Overkill
71

I understand that Motorhead sucks and every one of their songs sounds the same, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't jam out to that one song.

The Moss - Kentucky Derby
61

decent little listen. Some nice songs but way less memorable moments on here compared to their first album, I guess I might be based since I have many good memories with their first album.
The way each song flows into the next is cool and makes for a very smooth experience.

Secretariet is a banger

Vista Kicks - Chasing Waves
85

super super duper fun.

I'm so excited that Vista Kicks are getting back together, I became a fan after they broke up and it was disappointing thinking I'd never get to see them live or get new content from them.
Big fan of this band

Mount Eerie - Lost Wisdom
71

Short and sweet with some beautiful moments in between. Nothing extraordinary, but it's a record I enjoy

Pomplamoose - Impossible à prononcer
70

the first 3 songs are insanely beautiful, then it tapers off in quality a lot in the midpoint, but then it picks it back up a lot towards the end.
Perfect album to put on while lounging around the house or going for a stroll

Mother's Cake - Creation's Finest
85

Tight performances, excellent drumming, funky bass lines, gritty and charismatic vocals, and really good songwriting.
Runaway also might be a perfect song.
I love Mother's Cake. Sure they aren't reinventing the wheel, but it's hard to find anyone with the same energy they provide.

Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze
78

The second half of the album is a little bloated and doesn't capture my interest as much as the first, but there are still some top their songs on here, and the run from Medication to little sister is spectacular

The Moss - Bryology
75

I have a deep nostalgia for this album

Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R
87

I have a distinct memory of playing Left 4 Dead 2 with friends while listening to this album.

EDIT: 83 ----> 87
This shit rocks bro.

74

Some really badass songs in here, and the instrumentation is great. Pretty great debut album from one of my favorite bands.
It definitely does meander a lot toward the end though, it could've cut some of the fat.

Paramore - Paramore
75

This album holds a special place in my heart having songs prevalent throughout my childhood.
There is some great high points in this album but its very bloated and a little inconsistent in quality.
The interludes add a lot of character to the album, I'm not sure why a lot of people don't like them.

Paramore - brand new eyes
94

Absolutely Phenomenal

Paramore - Riot!
69

It starts you off with 4 ABSOLUTE BANGERS at the start but then diminishes in quality for the rest of the album.
After Misery Business the only tracks that stand out to me are Fences and Born for me (so I guess It ends on a high note).
The latter part of the album isn't bad or anything, its still has an enjoyable vibe and Hayley Williams voice is still beautiful throughout, but the first 4 tracks vastly outshine it despite my multiple listens of this project over time. It's a good ... read more

Paramore - All We Know Is Falling
61

Hayley Williams carries hard here.
It's a decent album, I enjoy the project overall but it doesn't stand out that much, especially compared to Paramore's future albums.
there are some great moments on here though. And the Vocals are amazing the whole way through

Edit: (57 ---> 61)

Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us
95

This album is like if Hot Vampires stayed at my house for the entire weekend, but instead of sucking my blood, they were sucking my wiener.

Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
47

There is a lot of interesting textures on this album and there were some parts that I thought were absolutely badass.
the project as a whole isn't really my thing though.

It's definitely grown on me though. If you asked me to give this a score out of 100 when I first listened to it I probably would've said like a 25 lol.

Cursive - Domestica
88

Cursive's Domestica?
More like Cursive's awesometastica

This album's great though.
I'd go into more depth about why I like it so much, but I'm too tired and lazy right now.

Thank you random Reddit individual who recommended Cursive to me like a year ago.
