Cole & Drake hybrid would be rated higher if not for horrendous thugger track
Quite enjoyable & consistent. Although, I do prefer his Full Length from earlier in the year
This is the guy yall got next up? What am I missing here? Can someone recommend me something to make me a fan
It plays like a teaser for whats to come & kinda like plugging his potential future label mates but there is some great tracks on here and when that Bangladesh tag came in I was HYPE
Not my cup of tea but these guys are clearly talented
Better than I expected. I remember absolutely hating that State of Emergency record. This is nowhere near as bad
Jay Worthy with the worst Album (EP) cover of the year. Musics fine though, but the chemistry is not there to make this above average
wow. what. the. fuck. I have heard what feels like thousands of albums at this point in my life & absolutely nothing sounds like this. This is seriously some of the best production I have heard through any genre. I don't even usually like Armand Hammer so much or any experimental hip hop for that matter but this is just undeniably excellent. I don't use this word often, but I think Alchemist has curated a masterpiece here.
These are not individual songs, this thing needs to be ... read more
Surprise feature on track 5? The best I have heard Flee since that Mephux tape last yr & this is right up there for Muggs too. Great shit
If I could smoke weed I could see this being closer to an 80. The reality is that I just don't have any setting to play this music - Good word & Remote Relocation are the exception here
I actually like Guapdad. From the album art I was hoping for an introspective look at Guapdads upbringing and current thoughts on things. Outside of a couple of tracks, it definitely aint that. I would like to hear a 10 track album of songs like Uncle Ricky.
Nevertheless, Guapdad is a fun rapper capable of making some fun tracks, which he definitely does here, it's just too hit or miss for me this time
Nothing here can touch Crowns for Kings or 5 to 50, but this is super consistent. The fact this is still an 80 for me just shows the quality Benny has been putting out as of late. I wish Harry didnt touch that sample on Plug Talk as much as he did, I feel 38 Spesh used it better last year on that Elcamino record 'Sake in Japan'
