Let God Sort Em Out might have topped Clipse’s former best album, “Hell Hath No Fury” every verse on the album is inspired and flavorful, the meaning and multiple meanings is insane. The production from producers like Pharrell is amazing, which makes this easily one of the best of the 2020’s.
Cole just revived his career after his worst album to date, Might Delete Later, this might just be his best album, and if not then it is tied with 2014FHD, and 4 Your Eyez Only. Cole delivered when he needed it.
A decent debut, but it just isn’t there, drill is dying and lackluster projects from Central Cee won’t save it.
Honestly better than I would have expected from Yuno, it’s his usual style, but there is almost a bit of cohesion here, the hilariousness honestly improves the project and gives it its own vibe. Not a bad project, but when you’re Yuno Miles, you can only get so good.
At this point, Drake needs to accept that he doesn’t have it anymore, Honestly, Nevermind solidifies this opinion, with no cohesion, and just shots in the dark at hits that land somewhere in an abyss of hip-hop slop.
A solid project from one of Detroit’s finest, there is good stuff, but it lacks lyrically.
This album is a strange but pleasant listen, it’s unconventional in comparison to other albums, but music quality is definitely there, it is the last good Kanye album we have gotten, and the way Ye is looking right now it seems it might stay that way, the sounds and cohesion is there. It honestly sounds like an evolved TLOP, but not quite as good.
Edit of the review— This is more like a documentary than an album, it’s so good though, one of the best documentaries ever, some ... read more
Every song on this powerhouse is crafted with extreme care and detail, Kanye made this album to cap off his college trilogy, and this might arguably be the best one, the beats are amazing, Lyrically it is maybe the best Kanye has ever sounded. This album single-handedly destroyed 50 Cent’s career.
The most influential hip-hop album ever, pioneered the gangster rap movement to build the rap into what it is today, where it stands as an actual album is tricky, there is lots of good, but some lackluster tracks keep it from being “up there”.
The usual quality you get from Quest is lost somewhere in this void of an album, there is highs, but the lows drown out the good in this album, a huge step down from their previous projects.
A huge step up from The Never Story, the quality is better, the production is better, the lyricism, features, consistency. EVERYTHING is a step up from his previous work.
Really set the stage for JID to flourish, but the quality is meh, allowed JID to show what he needed to.
Creed is nostalgic, so I’ll give this album its flowers, but it just isn’t that impressive.
Soundgarden has long been a staple in anything grunge, and this is why, Superunknown is why. Grunge became an established genre when this was created, so thank you Superunknown, without you grunge would not be what it is today.
Cheat Codes is another modern classic collab between rapper and producer, and it might be the best one, Black Thought delivers laid back yet energetic and engaging bars over heavenly Danger Mouse production.
