I've never been so conflicted with an album before ever in my life.

This album is, like, edging being a really good album. Like, there are moments where you can hear there being some really good and interesting ideas, and then Quadeca comes in with the white boy rapper schtick and ruins a lot of it. "WHAT'S IT TO HIM?" and "U DON'T KNOW ME LIKE THAT" are literally so close to being perfect if Quadeca didn't fucking AD-LIB. Every time Quadeca goes "Uh! ... read more

I don't think I've ever seen an album kill all the momentum it had building up than my experience with fucking Rylee & I. That shit was so overblown and borderline unlistenable. It sounds like they listened to Yeezus and said "Yeah I'm gonna learn all the wrong lessons from this". Like...

A relatively intense album that has some really intense vocals and rhythms. Unfortunately, the album also suffers from the pain of "slow song-itis", where some songs are too slow for their own good, and just... keep at a mellow tempo. I'd love for some cool moments here and there but like, I get it. Not everyone's looking for what I'm looking for.

It is a good album tho.

Yeah, I know I'm two days late, but due to personal circumstances I had to hold off on actually listening to the albums until today.

This is an album which, I feel like, might change in it's ratings over time, because a lot of the production is really, REALLY good, and maybe on another listen I'll appreciate it more.
