This album can be hard to get into at first ( it sure was for me), but when it clicks with you, you realize it's one of the best albums ever made. Bee Thousand is like a fuzzy dream, full of incredibly catchy tunes that stitch together, and when you wake up you can't quite remember it all clearly, but the melodies stay in your head forever.
EDIT: the streaming version has proper mastering and sounds miles better than the ripped "oficial-bootleg".
I don't mind autotuned Lou Reed-esque vocals. My problem with this song is the weird ass mixing and some weird line deliveries by Julian. It sounds kinda empty for the most part, and it's oddly uncalculated for a strokes song. Despite all this, the song builds up incredibly well! The ending section is awesome!

This album takes the weirdest left turn from track 3 onwards. I want to preface that I don't mean this review as a diss to the band. They are probably awesome musicians and people, and Here Comes the Rain is one of the best songs I discovered this year. I really love and cherish this song. That said, this album disappointed me, and I want to exercise my songwriting brain through this review. If anyone from the band ever read this, keep it up, you're all awesome!
