Stunning album, might become a 100 at some point. Every single sound is executed perfectly and is done without being even remotely too over the top. Despite dungeon synth/this kind of style usually requiring me to be in the mood for it, I can put this on at anytime.
I love you David Tibet. Their second best record, and one of their best atmospheres
Overhated album, it feels like BH is adapting to a new sound but stays true to their origins. It's a nice epilogue for them with The Family being the kind of the real ending.
Whatever. I get what they were going for with it just being Kevin Abstract, but the songs are just whatever. ALSO MY SPOTIFY LOVES TO PLAY THIS ALBUM FOR SOME FUCKING REASON AND ITS SO ANNOYING
Great but is carried by the standout/most popular songs- *gets shot and killed*
Lots of forgettable songs, but has some great highlights, one of the best C93 albums instrumentally.
Incredible lyrics and Frank has an amazing voice, he almost sounds like completely different people on certain tracks.
A little too long, the sound gets a worn out and could use more vocal tracks.
DAMMMMMMN its good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing guitar work and perfect atmosphere. Something new is found in every listen. So underrated but I get why because its only available on physical copies or on Soulseek/YT. You should still listen to it though
Highlights my biggest issue with Atmospheric BM, every song is almost the exact same and goes on FOR WAY TOO LONG
A great album which shows Coil’s versatility- maybe their best but it does fall off towards the end. Would be even better without tracks 10-13 that's just me though.
A really good start to Coil's career. This album has a really underrated atmosphere. Maybe it's because of Ostia but especially with the interludes I get really immersed in the southern European, perverse, filthy, dark, secretive atmosphere.
Definitely shows how incomprehensible C93’s lyrics have gotten as of late but that's okay. The jazz elements are great but get old quickly and some songs are too long and which I could go completely without. First two tracks are really really good though.
This doesn’t sound like anything new from Tyler, which is usually what I look for in his albums. It almost feels like a step back. Lyric content is solid.
Much more lo-fi quality, allows the album to be separate from others by CW. Made up of amazing songs, but also has some of their most forgettable. When the intensity and shit builds on those longer tracks like Alphabet on the Manhole rrrrrrrrrrrrrr
