Hey did you guys know he cheated on his wife?
Album's mid by the way
On their first release in 3 years, .gif from God sound as lively as ever. This is their best work to date and worth checking out if you even slightly enjoyed any of their past work
I can't believe what I've been missing out on these last few years. This band is just what I needed to hear
It's pretty good but I wish Napalm Death had more influence on the style of it. This just sounds like a good Melvins album with some backing screams from Barney.
Favorites: Stealing Horses, Death Hour
A non stop party that somehow only gets more exhilarating as it speeds along
I really like the new album, but this one isn't for me and it maybe never has been. The last few tracks are pretty damn good though
We got free Palestine and dipping balls in thousand Island dressing in the same song, this is a 10 out of 10
Despite having maybe a few too many songs, this album still stands tall among a discography full of greats.
Favorites: 25 Bucks, Wonderbread, Lonely, Dope Song, Dip, Smokin and Drinkin, Kush Coma
Am I the only one that likes Gun In Yo Mouf ? Idk but the second half of this thing slaps
Obviously not perfect, but probably my favorite live album to listen to. The guitar tone is insanely good and some of the performances even rival their respective studio versions, but others can leave a little to be desired in the vocal performance. Instrumentally and mixing-wise, this thing is perfect in every way to me and I love the banter.
Everything a live punk album should be.
Favorites: tracks 1-10, 14-17, 20-23
While Neurosis has truly never released anything one could call "bad music", this is still probably the most vital and impassioned the band has sounded in decades; probably their best since Times of Grace. My score may eventually change to 100, as I seem to enjoy it more with every listen, but for now, it's a 95, and a damn strong one at that.
Favorites: Mirror Deep, In The Waiting Hours, Last Light
Easily the band's best work, Volition is bursting with contagious joy, rage, passion, and fury from every angle.
Favorites: Without Prejudice, Yellow Teeth, A Life Embossed, Animal Bones, Skies
A huge improvement over Kezia, Fortress is the sound of an already great group of musicians maturing as songwriters. Some of the band's best work is on here, even if the grandiosity is a bit much at times.
Favorites: Bloodmeat, The Dissentience, Bone Marrow, Sequoia Throne, Goddess Bound
