It's easy to be big brain and hate the foo fighters, But Honestly this album still slaps. Probably their most consistently good 2000s album. Yes, it's arena rock. Yes, it's dad rock. But if that's the case, then I guess I'm a dad now.
First off, I commend the ballsiness to put yourself out there and get ratings and reviews on your art regardless of how positive or negative it may be.
The first 2 tracks were actually pretty good. Cool textures and a pleasant ambience abound, my only critique would just be the somewhat flat production and kind of predictable dynamics (especially since it's billed as experimental in your Spotify). Wings continued this trend for me, albeit a little less positively.

As far as I know, this is my first time hearing Placebo. Pretty good.
Like most things RHCP, I wish I could like this more - but the vocals hurt the final product a bit (less so in this song than the last one, though)
Simultaneously, I also wish I could hate this more - I dislike Anthony Keidis with a passion but instrumentally, this song is a pretty smooth return to form for them and reminds me of when I used to love this band years ago in my adolescence.
Wow, this is so much better than I remember it being. Underrated as hell, really no bad songs and the flow is impeccable

An underrated eclectic masterpiece. Even the weird cuts are great (Sean Flynn, Ghetto Defendant, Car Jamming, even Red Angel Dragnet)
The more I listen to this album, the harder it becomes to find anything wrong with it. The dense, layered production and mixing serves to fit the music underneath it very well. It's an incredibly atmospheric and utterly jawdropping record, with every single part serving a much greater purpose than the simple noise it may seem to some. Desperately, I NEED more music that sounds like this. ULTRAPOP. REFRACT.
Although it doesn't quite reach the heights of the band's last several records, "Blood Moon" really succeeds in its reintroduction of one of metalcore's greatest acts. Tightly knit with some of the darkest and gloomiest sounds Converge has only toyed with in the past for some of their greatest songs (ex: "Wretched World", "In Her Shadow", "Thousands of Miles Between Us", etc.) , the record really shines when collaborators Chelsea Wolfe, Stephen Brodsky, ... read more
It's good, but nowhere near as exciting as their later material.
