Portrayal of Guilt - CHRISTFUCKER
96

edgy title is edgy (I do love it tho)

Slipknot - The Chapeltown Rag
60

more of the same, which is both a good and bad thing

Green Day - Holy Toledo!
70

I'm genuinely surprised but I actually liked this one. best track since RevRad (not that that's saying all that much)

Limp Bizkit - STILL SUCKS
68

I N E E D A S N A C K Y P O O

Every Time I Die - Radical
98

Like the old guy from that episode of SpongeBob once said: "IT'S RADICAL"

A.A.Williams - arco
90

A very welcome update to her already impressive debut EP

Knocked Loose - A Tear in the Fabric of Life
94

Their best work so far, by a long shot

Tomahawk - Tonic Immobility
74

Like a lot of Patton's projects (especially the more recent ones), this album is much more enjoyable when not paying any mind to the absurd-for-the-fuck-of-it lyrics scattered throughout - and on this album, many are flat-out BAD. But, it sounds great and the musicianship is spectacular all around (it really feels like a SUPERgroup) and of course Patton STILL to this day sounds fresh and vital. I don't love it, but I do like it quite a bit.

Spiritbox - Eternal Blue

High school me would have adored this.

Adult me thinks it's a decent debut record with some impressive signs of a potentially great band. I think they're doing some cool things through what is perhaps a bit of a stale, prototypical modern metalcore lens but what they are so clearly great at is creating art that so strongly resonates with so many people. That is something not to be underestimated in such an oversaturated style such as metalcore. Not every track here is essential ("Hurt ... read more

Every Time I Die - Gutter Phenomenon
88

Excellent (A-) (formerly 69 - nice)

I used to not like this record a whole lot but this jawn goes hard as fuck

Frontierer - Oxidized
84

It's HEAVY and I like that they utilized the electronic elements more this time around. However, for the most part, it still feels like more of the same - which is great, but at the same time serves as the band's only real weakness

The inconsistent production aesthetics on side one make Agoraphobic Nosebleed's portion of the split a little difficult to listen to at times, but even still it contains some of the band's most well-written, memorable material. And of course Converge's side of this split is legendary; Locust Reign, My Great Devastator, They Stretch for Miles - God tier.

Favorites:
(Agoraphobic Nosebleed) Mantis, Center of the Hive, Pentascam Constellation, Gringo, Infected Womb

Full of Hell - Garden of Burning Apparitions
95

I will never truly understand the hate Full of Hell seems to get; This record (like most of their records) is fantastic. It's heavy, noisy, dynamic, catchy, violent, etc., etc. Easily their best (solo) record yet.

Favorites: Murmuring Foul Spring, Burning Apparation, All Bells Ringing, Eroding Shell, Celestial Heirarch, Reeking Tunnels, etc.

Pearl Jam - No Code
80

A bit inconsistent in the second half, but other than that it's actually really good.

Best: Hail Hail, Off He Goes, Red Mosquito, In My Tree, Habit, I'm Open, Around the Bend
Worst: Mankind, Lukin, Present Tense

Pearl Jam - Ten
87

I always thought Vs. Was better, but I'm actually quite enjoying this now. An excellent (A-) showcase of Zeppelin indebted alternative rock.

Best: Black, Jeremy, Oceans, Porch, Garden
Worst: Why Go

Low - HEY WHAT
100

I love this record so so so so much

Pearl Jam - Vitalogy
83

Although not quite the masterpiece I once believed it was, it's certainly one of the band's better records.

Favorites: Last Exit, Spin the Black Cirlce, Not For You, Better Man, Hey Foxymophandlemama That's Me, Tremor Christ, Immortality

Least Favorites: Nothingman, Pry To

Thrice - Horizons / East
85

Their best record since Beggars

Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert
98

I was very skeptical going into this, considering the amount of hype behind this record. But godDAMN, this is gorgeous! The art speaks for itself, do yourself a favor and listen to it.
