I'm genuinely surprised but I actually liked this one. best track since RevRad (not that that's saying all that much)
Like a lot of Patton's projects (especially the more recent ones), this album is much more enjoyable when not paying any mind to the absurd-for-the-fuck-of-it lyrics scattered throughout - and on this album, many are flat-out BAD. But, it sounds great and the musicianship is spectacular all around (it really feels like a SUPERgroup) and of course Patton STILL to this day sounds fresh and vital. I don't love it, but I do like it quite a bit.

High school me would have adored this.
Adult me thinks it's a decent debut record with some impressive signs of a potentially great band. I think they're doing some cool things through what is perhaps a bit of a stale, prototypical modern metalcore lens but what they are so clearly great at is creating art that so strongly resonates with so many people. That is something not to be underestimated in such an oversaturated style such as metalcore. Not every track here is essential ("Hurt ... read more
Excellent (A-) (formerly 69 - nice)
I used to not like this record a whole lot but this jawn goes hard as fuck
It's HEAVY and I like that they utilized the electronic elements more this time around. However, for the most part, it still feels like more of the same - which is great, but at the same time serves as the band's only real weakness
The inconsistent production aesthetics on side one make Agoraphobic Nosebleed's portion of the split a little difficult to listen to at times, but even still it contains some of the band's most well-written, memorable material. And of course Converge's side of this split is legendary; Locust Reign, My Great Devastator, They Stretch for Miles - God tier.

I will never truly understand the hate Full of Hell seems to get; This record (like most of their records) is fantastic. It's heavy, noisy, dynamic, catchy, violent, etc., etc. Easily their best (solo) record yet.
Favorites: Murmuring Foul Spring, Burning Apparation, All Bells Ringing, Eroding Shell, Celestial Heirarch, Reeking Tunnels, etc.
I was very skeptical going into this, considering the amount of hype behind this record. But godDAMN, this is gorgeous! The art speaks for itself, do yourself a favor and listen to it.
