The La's - The La's
60

This record is just not for me. There is a few enjoyable songs, there she goes being the stand out, but I do find alot of the instrumentation and vocals quite jarring.

JADE - THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!

Okay, I actually can't stop listening to this

Edit: I'm sorry, but this album is not appreciated enough, Jade as an artist is not appreciated enough.

The Beatles - Rubber Soul
90

Great songwriting, my favourite lyrics is probably 'tit tit tit tit tit tit'

sombr - I Barely Know Her

The singles on this album are decent and catchy, the rest however is just a bit repetitive. The lyricism on this record is really poor in my opinion, and also a bit repetitive, it felt like listening to the same song over and over.

The Avalanches - Since I Left You
85

I feel like this is what they play in heaven.

Modest Mouse - Building Nothing Out of Something
95

It really shocked me to discover this record is just a compilation. I don't think I've ever had such an intense, emotional response when listening to an album, every lyric cut so deep and managed to perfectly encapsulate everything I'm currently feeling. I really needed this.

Jan & Dean - Save For a Rainy Day
70

Perfect album for a rainy day in August.

Carole King - Tapestry
100

It has taken me far to long to get round to listening to this record. King's songwriting is so sincere and profound and her vocals are so raw and expressive. After just one listen to this album, I feel so connected to it and already know its one of my favourites.

Sly & the Family Stone - Stand!
90

Essential listening.

Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney - Ram
85

Such a wholesome and playful album. So charming.

The Band - The Band
70

I did enjoy listening to this album, however, I didn't love it as much as I hoped I would. I definitely prefer Music from big pink.

The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society
100

Ray davies is such an influential lyricist, he explores many themes on this album such as nostalgia, hating modern society and just longing for simpler times, which I really resonate with. The atmosphere of this record is so quirky and full of so much personality.

J. J. Cale - Naturally
75

A delightful, laid back album. Favourite track-Magnolia.

Kitty Craft - Beats and Breaks from the Flower Patch
70

Sunshine, fields, flowers and cats, you can't fault it. A whimsical and vibrant album, so sweet.

The Band - Music from Big Pink
98

There are so many things I love about this album, such as the distinctive sound, the emotion drenched vocals and especially the resonating lyrics which explore universal themes. Phenomenal.

The Doors - The Doors
78

The end... wow
