damn this shit slaps. he sounds really confident on the tracks which is a big plus. the production is pretty good for the level he’s at currently and meanwhile there’s some things he can improve on this was a solid effort.
slime language 2 has some hangers but also some dull moments. it should’ve been shorter and there were some filler tracks that really weighed it down.
i’m a huge trippie fan, or i was. this album is certified shit. i took 5 songs away from this shit show. it’s so low effort and wayyyyyy too long for trippie. if it was cut down to the best 12 or 13 tracks this could’ve been one of trippies best but he overloaded it with low quality shit songs.
this is pretty shitty. the beat on certified is soooooo bad. the songs on here besides flex up and coffin are not rememberable at all.
i do appreciate the artistic growth and the more diverse sound on this album but it just doesn’t interest me that much. it can get kinda boring sometimes. i like jack harlow when he’s going over a fast energetic beat and he’s spazzing with some crazy ass flow.
this was my first full solo cudi album, and i’m impressed. even though i do like it i don’t see myself revisiting most of the songs on here.
night lovell is an interesting and luring project that captured my attention on first listen. tracks like mary jane and unknown location interlude are great examples of this. this is my introduction to lovell, and i’m definitely gonna check his other stuff out soon.
skins is meh, not too good or bad. train food is one of my favorites from x and one minute is good i guess.
the first 2 songs of the deluxe are really good, but then it goes south like the original version of the album. patel and over your head are too additions too
i thought this was gonna be great, like their past collaborations like too much sauce and seven million were. the first like 9 songs were pretty good but after that it started to go south. off dat is the best song in the second half btw.
meanwhile i do like westside gunn, this record was just okay. i don’t know. the beats are good but it kinda just dragged on for me.
this album is definitely overhated. it’s experimental in a way. i like the beats on here, they can hang and they can be chill.
this shit is great. i like this better than volume 1 because this has more variety. i love the beats on here and i love how they go about changing their sound. everything about this is great. can’t wait for volume 3
