An album that conceives a questionable mutation at first sight, but that surprisingly works. Even if we think that Venetian probably wasn't the first to mix Classical with Breakcore, he's surely one of the few that manages to make it work.

I don't see anything on this album that an old Gorillaz fan would like. No plot, no charisma and generic.
Even if some features work, they sound like songs belonging to said artists, not Gorillaz, as if Damon Albarn didn't really have the direction in his hands, but let them do what they wanted. It's like Plastic Beach, but without any kind of sonic diversity, just overexploited Synthpop.
