For a 20 year old album this sound still feels so fresh and interesting

JID is so good at rapping this probably doesn't end up as his best record when his career is over. The Forever Story is a classic already to me but i see another in his future.

a record that had a major influence on a me as a music listener. it's honest and thoughtful and i go back to it more than almost anything.

a bit underrated, i don't think it's that far off of the more well regarded earl projects. do people actually not like the song Sick!?

i think there's a truly great record in Olivia Rodrigo's future. this is a lot of fun in the mean time.

i know i'm wrong. i know this is a character flaw. i know this album is haunting and personal and i know those are qualities i love in music usually. but i just find A Moon Shaped Pool to be kind of boring.

whenever i go back to Hail to the Thief I start crafting a take about how underrated it is during the first three songs, and then the rest of the album makes it's life goal to remind me why it's thought of the way it is. still love this record though.

TLOP is still not an album i come back to and listen front to back all that often because i find it to be kind of an annoying mess. there's still no denying that there are some absolutely top tier Kanye songs on here. more of a grab a few tracks for your playlists type project for me.

i kind of expect this album to grow on me throughout the year and that's saying something because it was dope on first listen

Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj have the best verses on Kanye's best album, and that's very funny to me. Rick Ross' verse on Devil in a New Dress is quite literally the best of all time in my opinion.
