Just listen to You Haven't Done Nothin' and tell me it's not an authentic masterpiece.

Well, except the amazing Superstition this album has it all. One of his best works.

Great album. This is something else. I think around that time Stevie was evolving to be more than what he used to be as an artist and Talking Book just displayed it to the fullest. Superstition might be his greatest, funkiest, vibiest song ever. Probably my fav one.

This is the album that made Stevie Wonder who he is. Not his best work but definitely a work which was a shape of things to come from him.

I think ratings are low considering the fact that Stevie was 12 or something when he created this album. 12 year olds barely can listen to decent quality music let alone creating one for the adults.

Never was a Sam Smith fan. Ofc, he has songs I loved and listened to here and there but usually his style is too dramatic, too slow for my taste. But this album kinda begs to differ. Not as great as the first part but still very solid performance. Common delivers 30 years into the game, still evolving and creating pleasing hip hop music.

Ohh, I loved it. After very forgetable album, this is the album where Common says "I'm back" and he is still keeping up with the modern day musicality. It doesn't have to be trap to be up with the times of our days. Great effort.

Only era of COmmon where he released some insignificant stuff. Still good but not good enough for him...

I enjoyed this a lot. It might not be on par with his best work on many different aspects but it sure provides a nice, unique, enjoyable musical experiment

This is something special, must listen ofc. But I still loved his older work better. But that's just me. The guy is a hip hop genius.

Content is beautiful, meaningful. Flows and deliveries are smooth and easy to listen to. Beats and the musical style is influenced by jazz and soul sounds. What else can I ask for ?! Common is one of my fav rappers ever and this is his best OG work. His style will evolve in the coming years.

5 yıl sonra geri dönen grubun bu albümde belki de en başarılı albümlerinden. Söz yazımı ve içerik olarak başka bir noktada. Severek dinledim. Çok otantik bir tarzları var ve enteresan şekilde her albümde de bunu farklılaştırmayı, biraz değiştirmeyi becerebiliyorlar.

Athena'nın 93'te çıkan metal albümünü saymazsak, grubun müzikal yolculuğunu 3 bölüme ayırabiiliriz. Bu albüm de US ile başlayan 2. döneminin en iyi ve en net örneğidir bana göre. Daha sert, daha rock, daha çok elektro gitar.

Eurovision dönemi sebebiyle yapılan 3 eğlenceli ve güzel şarkıyla gelen albümde grup bir nebze daha punka kaymış, daha gitar ağırlıklı işlerle karşımıza çıkıyor. Bence bu albümle beraber Athena popüler bir gruptan daha marjinal işlere, sözlere, müziklere (alternatif bir yere) kaymaya başlıyor.

Ska, punk ve reggea ağırlıklı genre üstüne kendi kimliğiyle otantik bir müzik yapan grubun bence erken işlerinin en iyisidir. Marş-vari işler yok, popüler ve hit işler Öpücük, Sen de Yap gibi çok kaliteli halde örneklenmiş. Yine eski şarkılardan yorumlananlardan Beyoğlu da ayrı güzel. Mükemmel albüm. Tam bir klasik.

Yine arada maç / taraftar marşı tipi işler olsa da, müzikal olarak çok daha artistik ve estetik bir yere gidildiği aşikar. Athena'nın Athena olduğu albüm diyebilirim.

Bazı şarkılar fazlasıyla zevksiz ve çok taraftar marşı havasında olsa da Senden, Benden, Bizden gibi şarkıların yorumları efsane gerçekten. Aynı şekilde bazı eski türküler de çok güzel yorumlanmış. Athena'nın ska, punk tarzında kendini henüz bulmadığı, otantik, orjinal Athena sound'ını henüz oluşturmaya başladığı yıllar bence. Bundan sonra daha iyiye gidecekler...
